Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThere where some things that didn't work for example the WiFi never worked nor did the TV and the bathrooms could do with a remodel. Breakfast could be a lot better.
The place was very very clean and the staff where very attentive and kind. The view was exactly what I had hoped for and the reason I picked this hotel.

SloveniaVery bad knowledge of English, so comunications was not so easy. We had problems with a flight and arranging things was very difficult. Very badly made hotel, for EU standard would not get one star, for theirs its a 4 star hotel. Breakfast if you come a bit later, good luck to get something. The location saved them. It was clean in a way, but the bathroom smelled badly like a sewer and we had to keep the door closed all the time.
Great loacation, and thats ALL.

GreeceI dont recommend fully this hotel. we booked a taxi from the hotel to pick us up from the airport but that never arrived. So we got an uber instead. Dont book a day excursion to Cairo. Price and value is not worth it. The tour guide spoke english poorly and we were struggling to understand him. When they tell you that they will take you to Bazaar they dont mean the main Bazaar in cairo, but rather a certain shop near the hotel which is overly expensive. And the lunch they mean, is not what you think. It's a predecided restaurant with only 3-4 options, all of them pretty much the same and it's not even worth 100 EGP. So take my advice and stay away from day trips from this hotel. It will save you ~80-90 dollars.
the hotel manager was the best guy. Really, he tried his best to make us more comfortable and help us. Also it's close to the pyramids.

TaiwanThe Wi-Fi DOES NOT WORK on the 3/F and it can be challenging to get a SIM card nearby - which is highly frustrating when you only have limited data and need to look up information. The hotel also does not provide iron (in case you are here on business) and hair dryer in-room and with limited restaurants nearby. Many Uber drivers also have difficulty navigating to the hotel and it can be challenging to find a Uber that will take you to the airport (fraud happened). Plan to arrive at the hotel from 13:00 onwards or otherwise, you may be sitting in the lobby for hours like us. Do bring backup credit cards or cash upon check-in as the credit card machine seems to be unstable.
The view from the bedroom and the rooftop terrace (where you will have breakfast) is unbeatable, especially from the family/big room. The room is clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is enjoyable and gives a taste of Egypt. You can get essential items (but not shower gels and shampoo) from the gas station next door, which is also a plus. The Giza Pyramids are also within walking distance (a big plus).

United KingdomThe door lock handle broke which was somewhat of an inconvenience as we were on a tight schedule. Though the staff were trying their hardest to fix it, it became apparent that they had to call a professional.
OK - but we didn't have breakfast at all, just black coffee. Really liked the location overlooking the pyramids.

GermanyHotel is on a very busy street and the noise level is very high, the windows are not tight and you are anaethetized by the exhaust fumes (so you get some sleep in the end). Trips could not be organized through the hotel that they had promised before (poor English at reception). Breakfast was minimalistic and not my favor. Bad smell from the sink and leaky shower.
View on the Pyramids from the roof and from the room, small restaurant in the hotel, low pice, room was clean and personal friendly

JapanBad odors from the bathroom. TERRIBLE BREAKFAST, even serving Minute Maid instead of orange juice.. completely not edible. No A/C. Mildew smell unless you open the window. No sound proof walls very noisy outside. Door handle was broken, so poor security. Use Uber for $6 instead of their expensive pick up offer, felt very scammy. Also, not every room has a view of the pyramids as the name suggests. Giza is scary scammy. DO NOT believe anything from anyone trying to help you nor upon entering the pyramids, even if they claim to work there.
Great view and friendly staff. Great laundry service. Very close walk to the pyramids and gas station near by for ATM and standard convenient store items.

United StatesWiFi in this hotel sucks. Very unreliable and internet connection disconnects regularly while trying to work in room. Frustrating and vexing if you have travel arrangements to make or family to communicate with. The hotel is located on a very busy street and the noise of traffic in addition to extremely loud beats of music coming from nearby disco make it very difficult to get a good night's sleep. There are no convenience stores within walking distance. This is aging hotel that is not wearing well.
Dinner menu and food are good as is the view from 5th floor restaurant. Staff are pleasant and try to be helpful where they can be.

IrelandIt's a clean city hotel ideal for a quick visit to the pyramids.Dont expect any more. The new metro line to giza is currenly being constructed and this is a gigantic project so lot of roads are half or fully closed.its a taxi nightmare to get to Giza.D ue for completion 2025.On looking back I thought staying near the pyramids was a better plan.Maybe not.Stay City centre by river and cross the river on metro for quick visit to giza.Approach Giza from non city side metro station. It saves the taxi drivers reversing against the traffic on the main motorway (8 lanes).haha.nuts!!
Very good friendly and helpful staff .Clean and directly across the road from the pyramid entrance

United StatesThe hotel was very old and not at all worth the money. We couldn’t sleep because of the fire alarm the road noise. There was a hair in the bed which had a cheap and uncomfortable mattress. The Aircon was so old it sounded like it was going to explode and we couldn’t use it. The breakfast was just terrible just all sweet things with a tiny amount of fruit. The coffee was instant and not fresh. This hotel was at the very most a 3 star on a very good day.
The only thing it has is the view in the daytime.

Dominican RepublicMy room left much to be desired - housekeeping did not change my sheets or clean my room during the three nights I was there, and I had to deal with a flooded bathroom during my entire stay.
The bed was comfortable and the staff was nice. The location was top notch, as it was close to the main archaeological sites I wanted to check. You truly can't beat waking up to a view of the pyramids every morning, it was like something out of a view.
