Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainThe only thing I didn't like was the breakfast. It was a coffee or a tea, a banana, boiled eggs, butter, jam and a piece of bread. I only ate the banana and the egg. Not the best healthy breakfast. But probably okay for most people.
One of the best things for us was that we could arrive past 23pm. The boy there was friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The beds were okay, some comfortable, others not much, but good for the price. The bathroom was functional, don't expect more for that cheap price. We were all happy with the stay and would come back :) PD: For some reason we enjoyed the post war look of the building, it was an adventure for us, not a trouble x) PD2: The room had great views, we really enjoyed them.

South KoreaAlthough, I have overall positive feedback about this place, but this is true that the place is getting old and you can see some of those signature inside the washroom. Also the shower space is really tight.
Overall this place is clean and comfortable. Really good stuff to help guests. However the best part is the location. Very close to one of the biggest intercity bus stop with an amazing night view.

United KingdomThe bathroom in the room we stayed in had a leak , which made the floor constantly wet.
Excellent location in downtown Cairo, easy to reach by Uber and taxi, also close to old Egyptian museum, and Nile river . Comfortable beds.

United StatesOur A/C was on and off functional and it wasn't super clear how to reach the staff to fix it. Also somewhat difficult to find on the 10th floor up a somewhat sketchy elevator.
It was a clean bed in a pretty good location for the price! A/C and decent wifi for Egypt. For the price we can't complain too much but definitely not a luxurious or fancy stay.

MexicoThe cleanliness could improve, the wc was leaking a little bit and the last day I saw 3 small cockroaches.
A nice place in downtown Cairo, close to the Ancient Egypt Museum and many shops and restaurants. The personal was very nice and helpful. We arrived at 3:00 am and they help us to get to our room.

TurkeyThe building entrance and the elevator did not seem safe
We rented this room just for a couple of hours. We didn’t spend the night but i can say that the beds were clean. Customer-to-be’s gotta be aware of the fact that the bathroom is shared and is NOT very clean or newly decorated. No towels, no toilet paper, no napkin etc. The hosts were very friendly though and location is very close to National Museum

IndiaThe building in which this is located, seems to be sparsely occupied and doesn't seem to be in the best of health.
The location is great as in a very active area. The room turned out to be better than expected for the price - but don't expect wonders as this is a hostel. The staff was great and extremely helpful - provided us the breakfast in dinner itself as we were supposed to leave very early in the morning. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was average. Really loved their shared area for eating.
