Very cool place, staff incredibly friendly, they made my life so much easier. Props to the night shift receptionnist Hassan Mohammed who guided me through the options and through local life. The hostel, although hard to find at first, is really well located if you want a deep and authentic immersion into Aswan's life.

The place was very nice and comfortable, in a central area, in the middle of a huge bazaar. The people of the hostel are very friendly and always willing to help us. They were always there taking care of the place in case we would need them. Our room was very comfortable and clean. In case you would stay here just take earplugs with you because especially during Ramadan there was always noise from outside so maybe would disturb your sleep. All the rest were amazing. Thank you for taking care of us and the amazing mint tea with the Ramadan drink 🙂

Biba is such a friendly and warm host. She welcomed me into her place with open arms. Before my arrival, she had stayed in close contact with me to confirm my location. Since the hostel is located above a market and taxis cannot reach the entrance directly, Biba provided clear instructions on the nearest drop-off point. I arrived on the first day of Ramadan, a very important day of reunion for Muslims. Despite her busy schedule, Biba still took the time to check on me and ensure I had everything I needed. She is a genuinely sincere person, and I regret not having more time to chat with her. Knowing that my room was on the fourth floor, I asked Biba in advance if help was available for carrying my luggage. She clearly informed me that she could arrange someone to assist for a tip, which I gladly agreed to! Some reviews mentioned issues with luggage, but I believe that as long as you ask Biba beforehand, she will find a solution and honestly explain the situation. Upon arriving at the guesthouse, I saw the staff diligently cleaning and disinfecting the space. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the hot water was strong in the bathroom. Since I had an early morning flight, I had to check out in the middle of the night. The staff member, Hassan, was awake and ready to assist with anything needed. He even helped carry my luggage, and I truly appreciated his help! I recommend this place to everyone. :)

If I had to mention 1 bad point, it's stairs. It can be hard for old people, but if you're young and average physical ability it wouldn't be a problem.

Jimmy is such a nice and calm guy. He's gentle, helpful,smart,cool,wise, I can't stop describe how nice person he is. He knows how to taking care of guests very well. When I had troubles to making travel plan he always helped me by suggesting tour or providing transport but that was no pushing at all. So it was always comfortable to talk to him. Location is perfect, middle of a big market. I stayed 4th floor and I really loved that shower there. It's hot and water pressure is very strong, hard to find this much good shower in any place.

Babi and the lady that cleans both were super helpful. I spent 2 nights in the 4 female room on the bed at the bottom and the mattress was super comfortable. Then I came back for another night and I got the upper bed and the mattress from the bottom was way more comfortable.

The location is in the Bazaar and a little bit hard to find the entrance (also up 4 flights of stairs) but the locals will help guide you.

The staff are super friendly and helpful with local recommendations. I stayed for 1 night to transit for the Nile Cruise.
