Located in a perfect area of Zamalek, X Hostel offers a convenient and accessible location. With grocery stores, supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes located along the street downstairs, I could easily buy everything I need. X hostel also provides a beautiful view of the Nile from the windows. All the staff here are super friendly!

The price is a little high for just spend the night without services, but I took it because the hotels around where more expensive, and the location of the Hostel was the right one for me.

Nice place for a quick nigh stand, I had to go early in the morning to my Embassy, and the location of the Hostel was really close, I also was able to find payed parking under the bridge near. Kareem the owner was a friendly talker when I meet him. For a quick travel to Cairo I will repeat.

Everything was great.

Kareem and Abbas were the best hosts I’ve EVER had! Both of them were responsive, caring and helpful. They set me up with a private tour and endless suggestions about great things to do. If you choose, you can socialize in the giant living area or out on the balcony. There are only 5 rooms, so it feels more like a boutique hotel with very large common spaces. It isn’t noisy or crowded at all (like some hostels). It was not just a pleasure to stay here, but I also had a lot of laughs and got great info from the hosts. They made my entire stay in Cairo easy and so much fun!

Great view. We enjoyed our balcony so much. Super clean. Efficient communication with Kareem (great guy, helpful and nice). Good vibes. Location was perfect. Close to metro and lots of restaurants. We didn't regret our stay and we'll probably come back again !

Location is perfect, in the Zamalek trendy area of Cairo. The staff is competent, Kareem was especially professional and helpful.

Wi-fi was not 100% reliable, but as I understand this is general issue in Egypt

Accomodation has very good location. In the surrounding are a lot of restaurants and the area feels more modern and safe than the rest of Cairo. Stuff was very welcoming and helpful. Also accomodation was super clean. What I found very useful was the balcony in my room. Because as Cairo is very busy city, balcony was the only occasion how to relax outside, but not directly next to driving cars.

The hostel was clean, and central. There is a nice shared space to eat and the rooms were very comfortable. Karem and Sharif looked after us and made us feel very welcome.

Nothing, everything was amazing!

Amazing location and an amazing place to stay! The host, Kareem, is an awesome and super friendly host who helped in organizing a tour of the pyramids and helped drop me off to the airport as well. He made sure I felt at home at the hostel and that everything was set. The location is really good, right next to all the nice food place in Zamalek. Definitely a must stay if you're travelling by yourself or with your friends!

not bad and we knew before: take your ear plugs, the traffic is noisy ,the windows do not close and have no rubber seals fun: just take care that you do not flood the space: shower is just at the wall in front of the toilet. for the rest nothing to criticise more.

a really one of the nicer and clean places of Cairo in the heart of Zamalek on 8th floor with great view food/drinks and entertainment in walking distance. there is a nice spacious common place (self catering possible) with free tea very friendly and helpful host

Fantastic position in Zamalek, island were are expatriates and Consulate: the most safe place in Cairo with a Police Station just in front.. In practice it's free of charge I wanted to extend my staying, but on Booking.com was fully booked: a real pity
