“We received a warm welcome by the property manager who was helpful and charming. A full tour of the house was conducted and advice on local attractions and amenities was provided. He visited the property every few days, based on our schedule, to clean the pool, outdoor areas, water the plants and collect refuse. He was a lovely, kind gentleman. The house is beautiful, full of history and very authentic. It's equipped with fixtures and fittings in keeping with a property with this history. Don't expect hi-tech gadgets! Bedrooms are spacious, with comfy and clean beds and effective (and free) aircon. Showers are hot and plentiful. The property is also perfectly placed within the town with a short walk to the local bakery, shops and bar/restaurants.”
