Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Saturday night they had a social gathering/party in the main dining room so it was loud when I was trying to sleep but they give a heads up about this in advance. Overall the hostel was quiet and comfortable. It was inconvenient that I had to go somewhere else to store my luggage after I had checked out.
I really liked the location and my room was comfortable. They were out of big sized towels and only had smaller towels so the receptionist gave me two small towels at no charge and I really appreciated that.

There were no storage facilities.
Friendly and welcoming staff, cleanliness. The location around bars and centre was just perfect.

Dirty common kitchen because of rude customers. Room bathroom floor could be cleaned more often, but that also depends on guests.
Comfy bed. Quiet at night. Nice and helpful staff.

Early checkout time and no option to leave bags somewhere. Maria fixed that, but she did it as a favor. If we hadn’t had that option our last day in Granada would have been much less productive/fun. The question of whether there would be breakfast of not was confusing and made some of our planning more difficult.
The best was María. She was v helpful and friendly. I also like how the bunks were supplied with curtains, a light and a little shelf. Great shower! The place felt secure.

Towels are 2 euros, breakfast is rather expensive for what you get, getting up to me bunk bed was very painful.
I loved the location, almost hidden. It has a kitty corner that is used as a trash pit, not the hostels fault.

What I didn't like was that the kitchen is a bit of a mess and the food you put in the refrigerator would disappear or be stolen, and also that it didn't have many kitchen utensils.
I really liked that the hostel rooms were always impeccable, the staff at work were very kind and friendly, and everything you needed was nearby, restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, everything.

There’s no internet connection in the room at all. There is in the lobby but it’s terrible. They didn’t have luggage storage. I self-checked in but my key card wasn’t working so i couldn’t enter the room, i texted their WhatsApp number but didn’t get an answer, good thing there was an employee came in for his shift and helped me, but couldn’t figure it out, until we realized it’s the actual door that is broken and i had to change room instead.
It’s really clean and the location being close to everything.

We bearly saw any staff, the reception was always empty. It was really hard to get to the top beds in the bunkbeds.

The only problem I faced was with the lack of hooks to hang stuff, even in the washrooms, and the shower cubicles didn't close properly so the water leaked everywhere outside of it.
Perfect location; central, close to main attractions and plenty of bars/restaurants nearby. Value for money, clean, kind staff and friendly guests. Overall a very good vibe. I had a good time staying here!

The soap dispenser in our bathroom wasn’t working, the water was cold meaning we didn’t have a hot shower for 4 nights and there was an awful smell coming from the bathroom. I think the drains probably need to be cleaned.
The room was great - large and comfortable. The free breakfast was lovely too + the location was very central with lots of great bars and restaurants around

Bad service: hardly no one at the reception during the day. Have to wait more than 15min before someone comes. Furthermore you have to pay for storing your luggage on the day you check out. Never have I ever experience that in all the hostels I stayed. Should be part of the service.
Good location: walking distance to the city centre and highlights. Breakfast is also okay

It doesn’t have much privacy. All of the windows are looking into other rooms. The breakfast was okay but nothing special.
It was very nice and spacious, comfortable bed and new furniture.
