Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

GREAT staff!!! GREAT location! Rooms a little small and dated. That's to be expected with the area. Not the place to look for quietness. You are right in the Port actions. Get the balcony room. GREAT stay!

I would like to have a kettle in the room to make tea during the day and the bedside lights are unforgiving
it’s proximity to the beach; the friendliness of the staff and the amount of storage room in the bedrooms

There was a little unpleasant smell in the bathroom, but that's the only negative thing I can say. Everything else was perfect.
Perfect location in the Barceloneta, near the beach. Nice, beautiful and clean rooms with good beds. Our special requests were fulfilled (we wanted two rooms near each other and that was arranged). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything gave me positive wibes. I stayed in many hotels during this visit in Barcelona and nearby areas and this is definitely the hotel I will return the next time I'll be in Barcelona.

Pillows were too stiff and full. I couldn't pack mine from home as my bag was full, and had trouble getting comfortable. Having options with two stiff and two soft pillows would be a nice alternative.
Breakfast was generous with good variety. Coffee was excellent. We appreciated the personal touch of the breakfast attendant who made us eggs how we like them each morning. The rooftop patio was really nice also to watch the sunsets with a bottle of wine before going for dinner.

Hotel was clean and really beautiful. Rooftop terrace surprised us upon arrival, the staff was really exceptionally friendly, all questions were answered with a smile and we had great conversations. They also provided help whenever we needed information about the city. Neighborhood was lovely, super close to the beach. Small bar was handy if you want to have a drink or a tea in the evening. Pillows were really good and small balcony in the room lets you enjoy beautiful views around the hotel.

Nothing was fantastic
The hotel was in a fantastic location looking out over the port vell harbour. The breakfast was amazing and could ask for eggs any way you like them fresh. The memory foam mattress was great after a long day of sightseeing. Will definitely return to the same hotel again soon.

The beds where a little soft for my taste but that was not a major issue.
Very nice room, with a beautiful view over the yacht harbor. Located at Barceloneta, the hotel is at a perfect spot to go wherever you want to go in Barcelona.

sometimes noisy in the evening due to clubs or some events nearby. But only until 11-11.15 p.m.
Location, not far from many sightseeing and just in 3 minutes walk from Barceloneta Beach. the room was clean. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the same every day, but rather good and satisfying.
