Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Got an invitation from the hotel to upgrade to a room with balcony, but after accepting this there was no such room available.
Wonderful breakfast, serviced by a most attentive lady.

Breakfast a little disappointing, food not particularly hot, had to wait for table as restaurant not big enough for all guests and not sure if hotel was full

Near a school and a busy main road. Not very relaxing when around pool as constant road noise.
Suite really nice size and very clean. Great staff. Pool area only had around 20 loungers. Exterior of hotel needs some updating. Food ok. Soundproof windows keep the room quiet.

Breakfast room is dull because of it being almost in the basement.
Breakfast selection was very good, although the room is a little dreary. Great location. Nice outdoor pool area.

Location was great. Helpful with where to park. Very friendly staff. I had a free upgrade to a junior suite on arrival which was very much appreciated. Food was tasty.

Standard of evening meals disappointing. Pool not heated Lack of room supplies, no water after the first day & scant tea/coffee/milk Reception staff had little knowledge about things that tourists need, such as directions and how buses worked.
Well maintained and clean. In good area of the city. Breakfast good.

Breakfast was a bit of a shambles we could not all fit Into the dining room and had to wait quite a while, then there was no hot food available, very dissapointing.

Unfortunately the television didn't work properly and this was unable to be fixed during our stay. The bathroom included a free standing shower and bath which were both fine, but the lack of ventilation left a smell of mould which was a shame.
Room was a great size, comfortable bed, balcony was much appreciated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect and overall very good value for money.

The bar could not provide milk for tea or coffee. The coffee creamer available is not suitable for english Tea and I would not use it for coffee.
The room looked smart. Adequate storage. Very comfortable bed. Bathroom smart and effecient. Lovely balcony and view of pool and gardens. Very restful. Breakfast was OK. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Not much food available in the afternoon, but in fairness it was a Sunday.
The comfortable bed, the shower with good power and plenty of hot water, the great breakfast with plenty of choice, the convenience of parking. The swimming pool looked very nice although I didn't use it. The hotel is in a smart area with lovely historic houses and there is a beautiful park nearby.

Although it is on the outskirts of Santa Cruz it was a perfect location for our purposes. There was private parking, which you must arrange in advance as spaces are limited. However, for 15,75€ a day it was perfect as parking in the city is a nightmare.

The bar is very small. It wouldnt entice you to socialize in the hotel. Adding €1 per drink to have it poolside isn't a very nice touch
The staff were so friendly. Everybody had a smile for you. Our room was fantastic, we were upgraded to a suite which had views of the pool. The pool area was spotless. The location was quite good too, just a short walk into the center. It was our first time visiting Santa Cruz and we absolutely loved it
