We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomDoor frame falling apart mirror in bad position to view full length. Could do with one over dressing table/desk. Bed dipped in the middle. Would be nice to change bedding every day. Works were being carried out in the building often the door to the building was left open

PolandI'll admit that after reading some of the reviews, I was a bit apprehensive. Meanwhile, the facility was in a great location, safe and easy to access (the application does not cause any difficulties). The first night, unfortunately, was a bit cold (the air conditioning only works up to about 23 degrees) and I got cold, while the last night was quite noisy due to the behavior of other guests.

AustraliaRemote reception and limited time to contact them made it difficult when we had trouble getting into the rooms The idea of Bluetooth keys sounds great however we had door lock issues with both rooms, taking 30min to get in one night. Rooms are a little smaller for comfort but good amentities provided (private bathroom, TV and A/C)
The location was very close to the main attractions in Madrid but enough away that not bothered by the public. Rooms were clean and the the remote reception was great in responding with all requests and making us feel welcomed

United KingdomNot having 24 hour reception. We had an issue with the check in and were unable to enter our room for the night. After getting in late evening with our flight. But the next day were very accomodating to get us checked in.
I liked the convient location. It was very easy to walk around. The room was a decent size and felt quite safe staying there. You needed key entry into the building, into your suite area and your room.

FranceVery poor windows insulation and thus very noisy room: could hear vehicles below passing by on the avenue, as well as the evening parties going on at the pub on the ground floor. Aircon not working. One of the bathroom locks not working. Generally speaking, the place is not as upmarket as it would like you to believe.
Perfect location for visiting the city centre by foot (literally 5 minutes walk from the cathedral and the royal palace). Other things I appreciated: possibility to book a family room; room size and bedding; lockers for leaving your luggage after having checked out.

New ZealandYou need to download an app to check in and open doors. You’ll need a smartphone and data to even unlock the front door and there’s no staff on site. Even with the app, the locks did not always work straight away and I can see it being a huge issue if you run out of data or battery especially because staff are not on site and unreachable after hours.

CanadaThey made us wait till exactly 2:00pm to get in because the phones unlock the doors and they were not always opening. It took a while to get the hang of it because you always have to turn the knob left. Lockers also took a minute to understand.
