Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. didn't realize that the rooms had shared bathrooms, however was clean and right next to my room. I also never saw anyone else use the bathroom, can be different in peak periods.

No natural light and there was a problem with the WiFi just before I left.

- the rooms and the bathrooms were quite cold; the room heated up very fast with the heating system, but the bathroom could use some heating - the whole place had an unusual smell - could be my personal opinion, though - there's mould in the bathroom, so maybe that should be checked
- the location is perfect, in the center, but protected from the noise and easy to find - while simple, the rooms are very comfortable - the hosts are very helpful and great to communicate with - check in and check out were very simple and straightforward

Saturday night was a little noisy, that would be expected.
Ana and Rodrigo were very helpful, welcoming and provided clear information. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had good facilities and the bathroom was cleaned regularly. Good location in Granada as well.

Really friendly personnel, easy (and really fast!) communication if I had any questions. Daily cleaning of communal spaces. Good value for money. I liked the board with the bar/ restaurant recommendations!

The bed was a bit musty. Probably the pillow/ duvet needs a wash or a change.

The only thing on the hallway there were super strong fragrance, which go us it was too stong. But overall all good.
The guy who worked at the reception is super nice and helped us with anything we needed. Really all was great, the room was nice we liked that there was a closed where you could put ypur things. Also the bathrooms were very nice and clean.

The towels were clean but old and there was only one for each person. The furniture was extremely basic. Much money for it.
The spot was very OK. The room was very clean. The communication through WhatsApp was very helpful.

Shared bathroom, but that was our choice and we pretty much had it to ourselves each morning.
The location was great. Easy walking to the bus stop. Our host Rodrigo was marvelous.

Quite a bit of noise from nearby buildings, but not the fault of the owner.
Staff went above and beyond. Managed to check-in quite a bit earlier than expected. Was also given a map marked with the best places to visit. Really appreciate it. Room and bathroom were also both clean.

Some renovation would be great, especially for the bathroom.
The staff was really welcoming and helpful. Great location. My room was clean, had a little half-size bathtub and a nice French balcony overlooking a beautiful facade of the building in front. The hotel also has a shared kitchen with a big fridge, a microwave, a kettle, etc. I liked it there.
