Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomHard to find a sunbed unless you queue at the entrance to the pool half an hour before it opens! The no reserving sunbed rule isn't really enforced. Quite a few sunbeds were also broken. Air con in the room didn't seem to cool the room very much and the control didn't seem responsive and the temperature control just kept turning. Shower head was low so my boyfriend had to hold it every time he showered. Tv only showed German subtitles and none of the English channels worked.
Room was lovely and clean, Italian restaurant was amazing, great value. There was always cleaning staff around. Breakfast buffet had a good variety and food seemed to be brought out right until the end of breakfast service. Reception were always happy to order taxis, which arrived promptly.

United KingdomSays on booking and when checking in, no sun-bed reserving, but this happened daily. With staff letting it happen. Booked a session at the adult only area, but when I turned up no beds. The food options however tasty were the same every meal.
The gym facilities and gym classes were very good. In house competitions are well run and staff supported. The staff at champs bar, are friendly and welcoming, remembering people's orders on sight

IrelandOnly complaint was my coffee capsules were never replenished even when I left drawer open to show I had used them but I had brought my own coffee so wasn't a problem I'm sure if I had asked this would have been easily rectified as nothing was ever a problem with any of the staff - excellent service

United KingdomA little bit Benidorm in that all the sunbeds where taken even before breakfast . Also for an Active resort I think the gym should open earlier .
Room was very comfortable and spotless . Lots of Activities if you wanted to. I was breakfast only and there was a great selection of items when I did pay for items it was very reasonably priced .

United KingdomIt is a bit too far out of the town to walk in regularly, without having to rely on car/taxi/bus. It’s a good 45 minute walk to the main front if you want to pop in for a change of scene. To say it is beachfront is missleading. It isn’t a sandy beach you can sit on or play on, it is all rock in small slightly sheltered cove that you have to clamber over to reach the water. Decent for a trained swimmer to do some fresh water laps.

United KingdomMy shower room really smelt of sewage. The problem was mould because there wasnt an air duct. I did write to the hotel while I was there and they assured me the smell would be taken care of. It never was so it meant the door had to be closed at all times. Would have given a score of 10 otherwise
The hotel had a lovely plentiful breakfast buffet. I ask to stay in a very quite room although Im sure o ther rooms can get very noisy.if you get a yellow band you are ok. All facilities are on site although costa tequise is only a few stops by bus. Beds were changed every day. Swimming pool deck chairs are taken by 8am with towels put over them. This policy should stop. The hotel served a luxurious base for me for 10 days

SpainLocation, around a half hour walk to the best beach Playa Chacra, no beach in front of hotel. Hotel separated into two parts, one the opposite side of road, which was the older building. Sun beds were reserved very early by most guests and then not occupied, while they were at breakfast or the gym. Lighting in our corridor stairs was non existent at night

United KingdomThe air con in our room smelled of sewage at night which was really not pleasant. The bathroom door handle came off in my wife's hand. I found it really strange that there is no table on the balcony. All the sun beds are long gone before 9am every morning.
When we arrived we were given VIPs of the day which gave us a free gift in the room and a late check out plus a 3 course meal at there Italian restaurant. The food was amazing! Our room was nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed bed and breakfast and I must say the breakfast was great! So much to choose from.

United KingdomIf you have a car, you are told there is Parking which is small and completely full at all times so you have to park on the street and sometimes not that close to the hotel because very busy. So very annoying especially if you are carrying luggage. Also the service in reception could be better, we ran out of shampoo and had to call twice to get someone to actually come to our room and were told we didn’t express the urgency the first time we called. And the day we arrived we asked for help on where to park and we were basically told to find parking ourselves (i would expect more support from a 4 star hotel).
Great hotel, lots of activities to do with or without kids. We planned snorkeling through the activities counter and Annalisa was really helpful. The activity itself and the staff were also great and gave us recommendations on what to do in Lanzarote. Food is good for the price, breakfast is really good and the staff in the restaurants are very helpful and friendly. I needed a wine opener and ice one evening and they helped me straight away with a big smile on their face. Location is great, close to Teguise which is great for the Sunday market and you can pretty much get anywhere in the island in under an hour if you are planning on exploring.

SlovakiaOur room was on the first floor, and we could regularly feel some bad smell from the canals on the floor (but not in the room). Also I had my worse sangria in my life from the the hotel bar. But these are really nuances... We had really good time and will be happy to return here.
it is a huge resort, perfect for families or people who wants to active spend their time. The breakfast was really rich. The hotel is cca 15 minutes by car from the airport, really easy to get there. There is a close small town to 5 min on foot. We went by bus to Arrecife, too, the bus stop is directly in front of the hotel. The people were really nice, and there is a regular evening activity for guests who do not wants to leave the resort.
