The only reason I rated 9 instead of 10 is because the rooms are unfortunately not soundproof - I could hear sounds from neighbours and from the hallway - that's kind of a bummer if you are looking for some quite time and it's up to good luck if you have decent neighbours or not. The soundproofing could really be improved!

Location is great - even though it's kind of far from the popular beaches and other areas, I really enjoyed the seaview, the view of pool and palm trees and the fact that I could watch the sunrise from my bed. It was a nice experience - the view is exactly like in the pictures. Also delicious breakfast with lots of options - gotta love Spanish food <3

The main issue we had during our stay was the room cleaning service. One of the days we were out from 8:45am till 5pm, went back to our room to find out it’s not been cleaned and made up, even when we’ve asked for it to be cleaned. The app requests for amenities were a bit hit and miss, one time the amenities I requested arrived but the other two times it seemed like they were ignored and I had to ring the reception to request it.

Beautiful hotel right next to the sea; friendly staff; delicious buffet; good value for money.

Being very picky but we thought the lighting was a bit harsh in the lobby and communal area. Could do with being toned down a bit. The corridors to the rooms were a bit drab, they could do with better flooring than carpet tiles and more plants. Other than that, it was great all round.

Loved the breakfast and dinner buffets which were exceptional. Access to the Olympic pool and outdoor gym was great. The leisure pool was very nice to relax around. Rooms were very good and the sea view was spectacular.

The mattress were a little too soft for me

The staff is friendly. The food is good (it's a little redundant but there are so many options that you don't have to eat the same thing, the deserts could be more tasty). You can almost eat at any time with the various restaurants and snack-places. The drinks are good. The heated pool is not included but mid-November we had the chance to have sunny and warm days so we were able to enjoy the regular pool. Unfortunately even if it's not allowed a lot of guest "book" the lounge chair. The bedroom and bathroom are clean and quite large. The fitness area is good. There are activities around the pool and shows at night

We had half board at the resort. The food was good but in my opinion, didn’t match the quality of the rest of the resort. We quite often found that there was almost too much choice at breakfast and dinner and they’d almost be better served making less and focussing on improving the output on a smaller amount of food. That said, you’d normally find something good on offer but you’d have to search it out

We had a fabulous stay at the Barceló Active Resort. It really did exceed expectations; from the room (which was spacious and lovely) to the pools and the gym/workout facilities - everything was great and we had the best 2 week stay.

The glasses used for orange juice at breakfast are old, worn, ugly and dirty. I spoke about it. The next day, the third day, nothing happened. Maybe the dishwasher should be replaced???

Everything was fine. The hotel could get up to 5 stars, except for one thing....

Location - quite isolated from main town, beach and restaurants but probably normal for an all-inclusive hotel. Staff - not enough for the number of visitors as we had to wait to get our quests address (e.g getting the the laundry done took 3 days). It was noisy in the evening. The restaurant were OK.

The room was spacious, recently renovated. The hotel has plenty of facilities - gym, pool, bike rental, restaurants. The breakfast offered a good variety of food, although quite a lot of unhealthy options.

Breakfast was a bit hectic..people darting here and there...food was okay..nothing special.

Very warm welcome from the staff. Rooms extremely comfortable and clean. No need to bring shampoo,conditioner, lotion toothbrush/paste etc everything available. Very convenient when travelling today. Excellent facilities.

The food felt heavy rather than light and healthy.

The resort caters very well for families and our family room was extremely clean and comfortable. Our 8 year old and 5 year old enjoyed the kids splash pool.

Double beds are not actually double (except in certain rooms). When a choice of 1 double bed is made, you actually get 2 single beds, attached together and wrapped in one sheet which is terribly uncomfartable, with that dip in the middle. Unacceptable from such a luxurious hotel.

Everything was lovely. Staff members exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good.

The entertainment is boring. With the resort being away from everything your kind of stuck there so the entertainment is important.

There's two different parts across the road and a separate royal part. All inclusive is good with the drinks. It's proper drinks rather them pre made stuff like other places. It's built for purpose so it's big. Wouldn't like it if it was near capacity. Just so many rooms.
