Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomAnnoying to have to wear the hotel bracelet all the time from check-in and not be able to take it off till checkout. For families maybe the food might not be child friendly in choice. No labels on the deserts having to guess what things are each night.
Impressive/huge hotel and foyer. Nicest looking swimming pool I've seen at a hotel. Only hotel I've stayed that has a 50m Olympic swimming pool. Large and nicely designed room/bathroom. Large range of food for breakfast/dinner. Bus stops right outside hotel entrance. Day excursions pick you up outside hotel entrance at the bus stops. Lots of areas to explore in and around the hotel which is in 2 parts from lots of different pools, fitness & wellness areas to a small beach. 2 buffet restaurants one on each side of the hotel split you can visit + 2 a la carte restaurants Koi & La Dolce Vita serving Asian and pizza for an extra charge. Various sports/pool bars and a cycle/protein shop. Fairly large Spar supermarket across the road from the top half of the hotel.

Francequeues for pool bar nearly all the time. labelling of food for ai not great if you have allergies or vegetarian. my room smelt permanently of damp and all my clothes hanging in the wardrobe smelt of damp too. Not enough info given to customers about the hotels facilities and what you can and can’t do. check out was 12 but if your airport transfer isn’t until late it is not clear if you have options and what they are, 4 different groups were given different answers from reception and different rates for being able to check out later etc… It could all be made clearer.
Friendly staff, clean, great piano player, lots of entertainment to get involved with.

IrelandThe food in the restaurant was labelled incorrectly. A dish that was marked as peanut free actually contained peanuts, leading to me being hospitalised, and was nearly fatal. When asked, the chef himself was unsure of the dishes ingredients and had to confirm with other staff. When I made the hotel aware of this I was offered water and a 20% discount off my next stay. They said that they would investigate with the kitchen, but we identified further mislabelling in the remaining days of our stay.
The staff were generally friendly and the facilities were lovely. The atmosphere was relaxing.

United KingdomThe only downside was the buffet style dinner. It’s really as expected with most hotels but this wouldn’t stop us coming again. We definitely recommend.
Fabulous stay. Lovely clean rooms and the staff were extremely friendly.

DenmarkLocks in many toilets are not functional. In our suite, when having a shower, water could easily flow down to bathroom’s main floor, where there is no floor drain. So, the only way to remove this water is by using our personal towels. The restaurants were great, but to make them even more special, there should be more emphasis on offering something new. It was a bit repetitive to try the same things. Oh, and the TV doesn’t have many channels, so it was just there and nobody used it. These are small things however and can certainly be fixed. I’d definitely visit the hotel again:)
It has everything for a nice and comfortable stay:) Shows, bars, restaurants, pools and activities! What else would you need!

United Kingdomupon checkout, I was in a rush to get to the airport but I got stopped at reception for about 10 minutes because I had apparently not paid for the hotel even though I had paid on checkin and got given a receipt for it. the lady started questioning me about who checked me in and if I had really paid and just wasted my time just to be told it’s all okay and I can go, and that was it. wasn’t really happy about that part of my stay

United KingdomRoom was smelled and no drainage for shower area.
This place is nice. But staff or manager (Nancy) not very keen to help. Right after checked in I told that room is smelly and no good drainage for shower area. But nothing sorted. Even though I paid extra for see view room. Not good experience by staff and management.

United KingdomRoom had little hot water, poor drainage in the shower and the sea view was across from a building site. After a noisy early morning on our 3rd night we were moved to a higher room which was fine.
Good choice, egg chef at breakfast. Buffet got very boring however.

BelgiumThere is a 'royal' level, so half of the hotel is not accesible for normal a.i. No minibar in the room, no sport facilities even though the name of the hotel is 'active'.
Good food and especially nice drinks. They make your cocktail on the spot with lots of alcohol. Choices of boose are very varied and top class. The poolis nice as well, heated and stuff

SpainWhere to start, this is my FIRST NEGATIVE REVIEW on Booking, worth reading if you travel with family: -No beach nearby, don´t be fooled by pictures -They told us they have proper cribs for the babies...well they don´t. It´s a plastic travel crib with a ridiculously thin mattress. -They also said "they have a kids club" and they used to have pictures on booking (now they took them off) THEY DON´T HAVE KIDS CLUB. What they have is some staff that play games with kids around the pools.. that´s it. Nothing for kids 3 and under. -No warm pools for the kids, water is freezing cold. -Loud music until late at night, you can hear it in every room -We got stuck into our terrace, the 2 babies my husband and I, because you can´t open the doors from outside. This is illegal in most of Spain, i will look it up for Lanzarote, but imagine being locked up in the terrace in the sun with 2 toddlers and no water... when they got us out (thanks to me screaming from a 6th floor) they said "it was out fault because they have a STICKER..." (hidden beneath the curtains) -The staff in reception was not polite at all. When I mentioned flaws like this they said "I am clearly not used to hotels like this" implying I can´t pay them. Well I´m a titanium elite marriott bonvoy member, trust me, I can see a bad hotel when I see one -They give you very tackly and uncomfortable wristbrands you have to wear throughout our stay, but funny enough, they still ask for your room number for everything... they are clearly disorganized -When we complained about everything they gave us a "discount for their website"... NO THANK YOU! -No orange juice in breakfast... (they have the fake one)... I mean... I can´t even get started Save your money and go somewhere else, you will be very dissapointed.
Couple with twin babies: What we liked the most is the cleaning service and the restaurant staff, which were very nice and polite.

United KingdomPool snack bar food was terrible (and expensive) Too much focus on ‘Royal’ Level when base product is sub standard (nowhere near 4*) The advertised on site Ala Carte restaurants were fully charged (I.e. no discount or allowance for half board, or as I understand all inclusive guests). The hotel was not clean (rooms were common areas not) Long queues at the bar. Pool ‘lanes’ were chargeable.
Buffet was a decent quality and rooms comfortable, decent size and dark at night. Aircon was good.

IrelandSome of the rooms were very run down with no view of anything ! We had major issues with cockroaches and we had to call reception two nights in a row and when asked to be moved they couldn’t facilitate us until the next morning ! Yet moving from block 3 to block 6 there seemed to be a difference in cleanliness and even the room seemed to be newer
That there was loads of space for everyone comfortably
