Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

EcuadorCramped toilet. Small and in my opinion totally inadequate shower with no way to actually raise and maintain the shower head above one's head. Equally wash basins in the room not my idea of a good plan. On the first floor one could feel the vibrations from the trains below as well as the movement of people in the reception.
Clean room. comfortable bed, good lighting. Obviously very well positioned directly over the train station.

United StatesThe room given was all open consept. There was no separate bathroom and we definitely felt a lack of privacy within the room. The cafeteria food wasn't the best either - some dishes were over seasoned or too oily.
Great overall theme, the place is clean and neat, and is right next to the train and metro. Definitely worth the money.

SpainThe lobby was a bit shabby and smelled funny (some kind of chemical?). The decoration (NASA and space motives) looked a bit kitch for my taste. The indications to find the hotel, including the signs on the walls, were misleading and confusing.
Conveniently located on top of the Sants railway station. Despite the closeness to the trains and metro, the rooms were surprisinly silent. The rooms were small but they were comfortable.

United KingdomSince our previous visit, the hotel has been re-fitted with a space station theme: “portholes” on various walls offering photographs of planets ;a clunking lift from station level to reception; a bar where the only seating option is stools at high angular “work stations” (forget pulling up a chair for a group chat). It may appeal to the under 10s, but what proportion of the clientele do they represent? The hotel offered little of the quiet, classic comfort that we remembered .
We booked this hotel for its proximity to Sants station, having stayed there in quiet comfort pre-pandemic.

SingaporeFront desk quick response but no actions to solve the issue. Small room, insufficient ventilation inside the room. Understand that it’s winter time but with all windows and door closed, no aircon to cool down room temperature it’s stuffy and sweating to sleep.
Convenience location for travelling with trains on both intercity and within city.

South AfricaThe staff, the tiny room, the coldness of the place. I couldn’t wait to check out
I initially booked this hotel for the location as I was travelling with three small kids and entered Barcelona via the main train station and exited the same way therefore I thought it would be more convenient to stay at this hotel. I had booked two rooms. The staff were very unwelcoming me sour. The rooms look more like dormitories than a hotel room. We had no idea that breakfast ended at 10am and not 10:30am and arrived at 10:10am to be turned away. We asked for just one yogurt for the baby and was directed to the bar to go purchase one. The breakfast area was still filled with food and there were guests still eating however we were not allowed to just grab one yogurt.

New ZealandThe disabled room with accessible bathroom was poorly designed to the point I could not shower or go to the toilet . The toilet was not an accessible height toilet so unusable to the point I had to go the the train station to go to the toilet. The shower had a ridge surrounding it which was difficult to drive over for a disabled person, but even worse the shower stool was tiny, jammed against the wall and with no handles to support one. It was not safe or comfortable -just a token gesture. Even my husband could not use the shower stool, it was so uncomfortable with back rubbing againstthe wall.
Location was good for trains and taxis.

United KingdomTotal inflexibility. I was very unwell and wanted to cancel breakfast. The reception staff advised me to ask the restaurant staff for a packed breakfast. The restaurant manager refused to do this even though I had been ill all night and was unable to keep food inside me. I was travelling to Paris and needed to take some light food with me. Totally inflexible and nasty of the manager. Very unfriendly and not 4 star hotel service as one would expect. It was like they are doing you a favour by the customer going to the restaurant. No 24h room service. I arrived at the hotel at 23.15 and needed to have something to eat. The bar restaurant had closed at 23.00 and reception only had sandwiches to sell. I could not eat this. The room needs updating. The light above the safe would not turn off and was flickering all night. Shower adjustments would not work, so had 2 showers working at the same time. Not a superior room that I had booked. The restaurant service fell well below this and I had far better treatment in a 2 star hotel.
The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. They understood that I had been ill all night and suggested to get a take away breakfast

AustraliaExcessive noise completely disrupted my sleep, with persistent extremely loud music running from 11PM to past 3AM the night before a very long haul flight. I needed to be awake at 3AM so that I could leave the hotel at 4, and unfortunately, I was never able to sleep that night due to the incessant dance music. Would absolutely NOT recommend this place. I complained to reception, and they were not transparent in letting me know that there was an event going on that would last to the early hours. It's so unacceptable that this was allowed to go on in a hotel where guests are transiting and expect peace and quiet. I have never had this issue anywhere else!
Location was good.

AustraliaThe air conditioning just didn’t work from day 1, but nobody would listen! On our last night, it was realised a problem existed and we were offered another room, which we didn’t utilise as our onward journey left very early the following morning.
Proximity to everything. Staff were very accommodating when our room wasn’t ready on arrival (ladder and ceiling boards in room, obviously air conditioning maintenance). We were given free breakfasts, which was appreciated.

United KingdomCheckin takes too long and seems complicated compared to other hotel receptions. Not enough lifts - to rooms and to station. Took 20 mins to get out of the building with heavy rucksacks (so stairs were not an attractive option).
