United KingdomOverall, a very pleasant stay, nice staff, & facilities still available when we arrived after Ryanair delayed. Felt safe and the environment was clean. The train station has very good security, clean and well run. Bathroom could have been slightly better design. Obvious water damage to the woodwork in the bathroom at the base of the door, room 137.

I thank the hotel for the complimentary upgrade, loved the theme of the hotel (space/pod/star wars etc) that was amazing as the design and concept was excellent. United KingdomThere wasn’t anything that we didn’t like about the property. The surrounding area was not that nice at night time however the ease of access to public transport because of the hotel’s location certainly was a real plus.
Very clean and spacious room. Facilities excellent and everything was catered for. Staff so helpful- we arrived early and thought we would not be able to book in however staff were very accommodating and we were booked in straight away. The metro and train station are so accessible right underneath the hotel so makes for onward travel very easy.

ColombiaThere was a planned electric shortage for 2 days during late night (1 am), although is late you can be awake and need electricity.
I like everything about this hotel. It has a cosmic theme that fits well with design and decoration. Since you do check in there are small details for recreating the theme. The breakfast is full of choices and the gym (fitness center) is open 24 hours and well-equipped. The location is also perfect because you have all the public transportation options just a few steps away. I strongly recommend this hotel. I loved it.

United StatesThe only feature in the room I wasn't so wild about was that the bath and sink area was open to the room. The shower and the toilet areas did have closed doors for privacy, but they were behind the sink, which was on a cabinet in the main area with a partial divider. This limited privacy and noise control if one person was sleeping. The other annoyance was the automatic light in the closet area that was on a motion sensor. It kept going on and off as I was trying to get things from the suitcase (on when I stood up/off when I bent down), plus it came on when I passed by in the middle of the night when going to and from the bathroom, which wasn't ideal for the other person sleeping.
The Barcelo Sants hotel is a unique hotel with a futuristic space theme throughout. The rooms were clean and modern, and there were little touches and inspirational messages in the rooms and common areas that carried through with the space theme as well as green/environmental efforts. The buffet breakfast was excellent and offered a nice variety in addition to a cook-to-order egg station. It was a little expensive, but the agent offered a special price at check-in. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great, and the room was spotless. The location is great if you are traveling in or out of Sants Station, and the hotel was easily accessed from the station. The neighborhood around the station was okay, and there were several restaurants and cafes in the area. That said, if you are interested in overall sightseeing in Barcelona and want to walk (vs. using the metro), then there are other hotel options with more central locations.
