Sketchy hood, also we turned on the conditioner and a black mold or i dont even know what the hell was that started coming out from it, it was very disgusting and dirty.

The building is old and not not beautiful. The lobby had a disgusting smell. The elevator is extremely small. The room is not so beautiful but was clean and we had a pleasant rest.

The mattress, sheets and pillows were very confortable and we had a good rest. It was quiet so we could sleep good. The location near Ramblas was excellent and we did love this location close to the plaza, bus, metro, restaurants, shops, minimarkets, laundries etc.

Double room was smelling cigarettes unfortunately as I requested to have a room without smelling it. The duvet was burned with cigarettes as well. The place was really noisy the 3 nights I stayed there, some people/ coupled were arguing in the evening often and I didn't hear anyone from reception 😕 to action some action, or asked to put their voice down. They were yelling 😭, so loud. That really annoyed me 😞. The bathroom With shower and toilet is only one per floor. That means men and women use the same.

I stayed in the double room for 3 nights, there is a small balcony, and you can see the side hotel street. There's a sink, mirror and TV in the room. The pillowa are good.

There was too much noise/music from other guests at 2-3 am. That's the problem when there are no staff on site at night. But this was sorted quickly and considerately after a phone call to reception at Be Ramblas.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I booked Be Ramblas but my booking was moved to BCN home with my permission. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The terrible sheets and bed. Use a fitted sheet.

A better mattress is needed especially for couples. Use a fitted bottom sheet when making the bed. Sleeping properly is important, don't scrimp on this aspect of the business.

Great location, in the heart of the city of Barcelona. The next door from the hotel is a bakery, so you can have morning coffee with a croissant. 5-minute walk to the Monument of Columbus. Price/quality was as expected.

It’s a “hostel”, but with private bathroom. They don’t offer shower gel or shampoo. The bed is awful, it deforms in the middle so it’s very uncomfortable! Dirty room and bathroom… gives impression of dirty in general and very strong smells from downstairs, a kitchen that seems to be used by people that live in this building for longer periods of time …very loud all day long. Paper walls.

The ONLY good thing about this property is the location, very centric and next to the famous Rambla

The charging plugs in my room were temperamental, sometimes worked sometimes didn’t , that was the most annoying thing. As long as you know beforehand that it’s a shared bathroom, then it’s all good.

That it was open 24/7, the bathrooms are cleaned every morning.

Not very spacious room, but we didn't spend much time inside anyway. Could hear from other rooms, but nothing that disturbing. Not enough cutlery at the kitchen. People take the forks and knives and don't bring them back. Overall good, this are just minor issuues.

Very good location! Good rooms, with sink, large bed, made us feel safe because of the card rooms locker. With a small balcony to get fresh air. We could leave our bags after check in in a safe room with bags marked. Could use kitchen any time. Enough tools for cooking, enough space in the fridge. Bathroom clean and with quality materials, hot water, high water pressure. Electric sockets, hangers, curtains made us feel cosy. I stayed in many double rooms beds in hostels with shared bathroom in Europe and this was one of the best.

Walls a bit thin and the two guys next door singing to Cher songs very loudly although funny got annoying after a while. My room was on lower floor so quite a bit of noise when the locals started to open shops etc. but that’s the nature of El Ravel.

Staff were excellent. Just after arriving I went to the shops for something to eat and tripped over a kerb and fell quite badly. The patched up my cuts and bruises. Showed me the location of medical centre over road and even helped me fix my broken glasses. Excellent service from all staff especially Alex the night manager who paid cued me up.
