At night the bedrooms were warm, as the air conditioner did not cool them well.

I loved the location. The neighbourhood was great. The woman who met usc, and handed over the keys was very nice and helpful. The accommodations were comfortable.

Only one air condition (located in the leaving room) for the whole apartment (2nd floor) - in the other rooms (in the hall way), it was hardly reached. Only one toilet for 6 people! Elevator is really old and could only fit 2-3 people. "Dining Room" was available, but no blinds or curtains available to avoid the sun shining through. TV had only one Spanish channel. The neighbours (3rd floor) footsteps or other "night movements" could be heard.

Location was near Universitat and Urgell - Metro Station (3 minutes walking distance). Bus stations also nearby. Beds were comfy. Wifi was available. Lidl Market was around the corner.

The cash deposit of 200 euros is unnecessary as there wasn’t much that could be broken or damaged. Could’ve had a few essentials like a draining board in the kitchen, some tea mugs, coasters for the coffee table. The lady was kind enough to only take 100 Euros on this occasion but this meant that we had to wait in on our last night to get the cash returned to us because we were going to checkout really early the next morning. Then no one turned up so had to call them and wait even longer. They did apologise but could be more organised.

It was close to the city centre, was clean enough and the lady who checked us in was friendly despite the slight language issue. It was a decent size so the three of us could be in the same space rather than two different rooms in a hotel, the only issue with that was the one shower room so could’ve done with a separate toilet.

A very neat property, in the heart of a residential area but close enough to all the sights. The building was very quiet, perfect for a family of 5 with a 1 year old daughter. The staff were very friendly and polite. Check in was very easy and we were even allowed to check in early (around 11:30) our flight having arrived in Barcelona in the morning. They had already offered to store our luggage until normal check in time of 15:00 but they turned around the room quickly and let us have the keys that morning. There’s a fantastic restaurant on the corner and a Lidl too ( ideal as it’s self-catering). Would definitely stay again.

You need great patience to face the receptionist. You will see a charming, old elevator and it was a breathtaking experience riding it. The house is very old and cold unless u turn on the radiator 24hs.

Honest Review – Not as Expected!!!!- FIRST TIME WHEN I SEND A BAD REVIEW FOR A PROPERTY! I was fully aware of the €200 deposit and had no issue paying it, but if I’m paying, at least let me feel comfortable during my stay. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. I booked this apartment expecting it to be like the pictures, but unfortunately, it was quite misleading. The place is older than it appears in the photos, and it seems that the pictures shown on Booking are from two different apartments, which is very confusing. The biggest issue for me was the atmosphere—this is not a place where you feel welcome. The host made us feel uncomfortable, almost as if she expected us to steal or cause trouble. Not exactly the hospitality you’d hope for on a trip. Noise was another major downside. The walls are thin, and you can hear everything from the neighbours, making it hard to relax. Additionally, for a four-bedroom apartment, having only one bathroom is far from ideal, especially when travelling with a group. There are also way too many rules. I understand that it's not a party place, but even for those just looking to relax, the restrictions were excessive. A big issue for smokers—there is no proper smoking area, not even outside, which is quite ridiculous. I ASKED THE HOST ABOUT THE OUTSIDE PLACE, (THE SMALL BALCONY OUTSIDE THE APARTMENT, AND SHE SAID THAT IS STRICTLY NOT PERMITTED TO SMOKE!) - THIS WAS THE HOST'S ANSWER, " If you make noise or smoke, we will have to ask you to leave the apartment, even in the middle of the night. Without any compensation" IT IS INSANE TO FORCE ME NOT TO SMOKE OUTSIDE!!!! Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you are okay with misleading photos, a lack of privacy, strict rules, and an unwelcoming host.

Did not enjoy all the noises from the neighbours at 2:30 in the morning. Also, the one bed made such creaking noises even if you just moved.
