Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaDefinitely wasn't worth the money. Although the room was good, the elevators took forever – sometimes up to 20 minutes – to finally get to you. For half the trip, the middle elevator didn't even go to the bottom floor, you get to get out on the second and take the stairs, or wait for another elevator. The pools looked dirty with hair chunks in them, the rooftop one worse than the third floor one. I think the third floor one is cleaned hourly, but the rooftop one isn't cleaned until the end of the day. Food from room service was satisfactory, the bolognese I got was pretty bland with little flavour, and the chocolate lava cake thing I got was absolutely disgusting. Some staff members were nice, others just seemed annoyed at everything. I asked if there was anyway I could change my double bed to two single beds, as a friend has some issues with her hotel and needed somewhere to stay. One girl said yes, I would just have to ask in the morning so the cleaners could do it. I go down to reception in the morning and ask, and another lady said no because I booked for a double bed, but the double bed was clearly two single beds pushed together. TV didn't work either, and I told someone in reception, they said someone would come up to check, no one did.
The room was big and spacious, with a lovely bed, and a great view. Cleaners usually did a great job with cleaning the room. Loved the shower with the different settings. Breakfast buffet was good as well. Kept your suitcases safe if you were to go out before or after checking out.

United KingdomPoor lighting, window blinds were old and tired, the water took ages to drain from the sink The lifts in the hotel were horrendous at times. We had to climb stairs to the 14th floor a couple of times as we would have been late for our conference
Superb location which met our needs. Great view. Spacious room

FranceWe changed room to another one as it was full of cigarettes smoke. another one was a bit better. Overall this hotel is super old. swimming pools are so small for such big hotel. just too small. and also no room to change, rooftop bar not really a bar, I mean you cannot name it a bar as its just corridor with some hole in wall.
Parking under the hotel, just call prior to understand how to get there. very convenient to take hotel parking really even if its paid as all in Barcelona. close by shopping area, close to event area where we were heading.

SpainThey could've warned us before payment that the building was going through some major renewals. The entrance was packed with rubble, the "pool bar" didn't exist as it was under construction. You would then wake up at 8am listening to machinery, drilling and workers. When we informed the desk staff about this one the receptionists told us, no jokes, to look for another hotel. Luckily one of his colleagues, who understands what working in customer service means, calmed things down. Good for a quick stay when you are not planning to being in the hotel at all.
Great location for the auditorium, that's it. A taxi to the center is around 15-20€. The bed was comfortable.

AustraliaVery tired building, lots of wear & tear, dirty rooftop pool & construction works created a big mess outside and the sound of construction works and drilling kept me awake at 1.30am one night. Also the lifts were extremely slow usually taking at least 5 mins.
Located very close to the Metro, mall and the beach away from city noise & traffic. All staff were extremely friendly & helpful and our room was available for check in at 9am which was very much appreciated after a long 24 hour flight.

Czech RepublicEquipment and furniture is very very old it feels like hotel museum than four star hotel in 21st century. I understand they try to keep 1992 Olympics looks when these styles were in vogue but it’s 2023 and what was awesome 1992 doesn’t work 31 years later. Plus Wi-Fi doesn’t work as is not projected for amount of guests in season which is fun irony as a massive Telefonica building is right behind the hotel. This all is toppled by fearsome resistance of the hotel to accept payment via Booking.com you are redirected to their own provider which doesn’t accept Czech Credit cards I had to send them wire transfer it took 10 days for them confirming the payment receipt. Which is unbelievable because SWIFT bank transfer inside Europe usually takes 2 - 3 days. So waiting 10 days is weird. However the biggest problem of the hotel there are no sound isolation on very thin walls so you will be constantly disturbed by people next door. Definitely not what I am used from four star.
Hotel in close distance to the beach and metro L4 is right across the street. There is also a nice terrace with swimming pool on 3rd and 22nd floor. On 3rd is also quite nice restaurant.

FinlandDrilling and banging sounds from renovations woke us up 8 AM in the morning. We would have not made the booking if we had known about the renovations, but the hotel was dishonest about it and did not notify about it when we made the booking. Photos of the rooftop pool were misleading, it was much smaller than it seemed. Elevator system is slow and inadequate.
View from the room were quite nice. Breakfast was alright.
