My favourite thing about Bastardo is the friendly staff working there. Always ready to help you. The atmosphere at Bastardo is quite vibrating too and the location is beyond "excellent".

The breakfast could have more options to choose from. More fresh fruit, muesli, cereals etc.

The location of the hostel is just great! The center is about 10 minutes on foot. I liked the open terrace, you can relax there in the evening. breakfast for 8 euros is fully worth the price. I think I'll go back there again if I'm in Madrid

They only have a small lounge section in the front to sit for guests otheriwse you may be asked to leave the bar/restaruant area. The kitchen does not have a stove so you cant really cook anything just heat things up.

This place is so new and clean. I came during the slow season and loved that it wasn't too busy. I paid a fantastic price for this accommodation and it it located to a fun area.

The room is neat and clean, and the decoration style is also very beautiful. It's great that the staff cleans the room every day. And It's close to the city centre, so it's convenient to do whatever you want. This is my first time to come to Spain. 😊As a person who is not very good at Spanish and English, everyone I met here is very friendly. The reception staff is very positive and warm, and the attitude of the cleaning staff is also very good. Even the roommates I met are very friendly! I am very lucky and very grateful! I will always remember this experience.

The air in the room was a bit too moist and it smelled really funky like a school lockerroom.

I really liked the bath with the choice of handheld or overhead and good waterpressure. I also really enjoyed the rooftop terrace

Room was designed in an unusual way and we had some difficulties in opening all luggages (we were 3 people in a 4 people family room) while for example the shower room is massive. It would be very nice to have some more breakfast, snacks and aperitivo options to enjoy.

Location is perfect and excellent for price. The room was very functional and clean.

I didn’t love that the key card was digital but it was fine.

I loved the location of this hostel, along with the AC that kept me cool in the hot summer heat. I only had breakfast once, but it was a good spread and affordable. The rooftop is also very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

A great place to stay with a really nice vibe. Lots of people who are happy to have a chat too. Staff were super helpful and check in was easy and smooth. WIll be recommending to friends who are needing to travel and want to stay somewhere comfortable and clean.
