Social and respectful vibe, happy and welcoming staff, and great facilities with lots of natural light. Best of the 5 hostels I have stayed in in Valencia by far.

A bit of a walk to the main attractions by foot. But therefore you are staying in a very local neighbourhood with nice bars.

It’s one of the best hostels I’ve ever been. It’s a very cosy place. The staff is really helpful and make you feel at home. The beds are really comfortable, the bathrooms are very clean. When I come back to Valencia I’ll stay here again.

Just that the common room is not heated during winter and at some evenings it felt cold to me. Otherwise all is excellent!

Excellent and veeeeery friendly staff. Everything is very clean, bathrooms/showers are great and the bed have very good privacy with the curtain. Well organized, you have a key for your room and a large locker to store your belongings safely. Nice common room with open kitchen and large eating table to eat all together. Every one has a box to store their food. Very good internet. Nice Whatsapp Group chat with daily local tipps, of bars, clubs and events places to go. The common room has a glas roof, which is nice since you see the sky and have a kind of being outside feeling. Great equipped kitchen. Tasteful decoration, that you can feel at home. During Christmas there are candles and a Christmas tree. On Christmas eve the staff organized some tapas, sangria and other stuff to sit all together. Very nice cosy atmosphere. Lovely staff asked if I wanted my bed sheet changed after extending and being there already 5 days. Breakfast is good and included when you book right with the hostel.

The beds were squeaky, it was hard to get ready without waking other people up. You could hear ppl talking in the common room.

Really nice hostel. The beds were comfy. There was a common area with fridge. The bathroom was big. The area is full with bars and restaurants. Close to metro. The hostel shares great program ideas.

There's nothing to say about the place.. only on my first night, the guy in bed 9 put all his clothes in the stairs. Wet towel. Please give advice.

The atmosphere is very nice, the ambiente is also quiet to ready, study. Also, the toilets are clean . The late check-in without restriction. Definitely, I'm going back.

Everything was excellent! Clean, comfortable, and friendly hostel. The common lounge was very bright and inviting. People are open and it was very easy to meet other travellers. The staff super helpful and had plenary od excellent recommendations. Location is a lively area.

I loved my stay here. Everything was really clean, beds were good and it was nice and quiet during te nights. Exactly what I needed to just get away for a few days and not stay at a party hostel.

As usual there are always a couple of things that could be changed or repaired. However, when I mentioned Baptiste at the reception that the pans are kind of used, he agreed and the second day there were completely new ones available.

I have stayed in a couple of Hostel, but Cantagua is really one of the best. It has a really cool family vibe. The community, Baptiste at the reception and all the staff are very friendly, I simply felt like at home. Moreover, the custom made beds are very comfortable, doesnt make any noise when you are moving or climbing up. Also, the curtains make it very private.

The door that led to the bathrooms in room 1 didn’t close and as I was the bunk close to the bathrooms it was disruptive - if this was fixed it would be a better experience to stay that side of the room

The property is great literally have nothing to complain about. The AC in the room was a bit broken so it was dripping water for a bit but they get it fixed the next day (super efficient!)

The property is amazing with lovely staff. They put lots of effort arranging events for ppl who stay in hostel and there are loads of opportunities for you to meet people. They also give us great tips to explore the city.

it's not a point against the hostel, just a heads up to fellow travellers that this hostel is a little out of the way from the main city/attraction areas and is a good bit away from the beach, but luckily there are bus stops for two of the main bus lines like a street or two away from the hostel!

The beds were so cosy and comfy! the lockers under the beds were HUGE and the curtains blocked were practically black-out, got some of the best sleep of my trip while staying here. Also the main common area was so pretty, and with the glass roof its such a cosy space when it rains

The overall feeling that I had was of a cozy home on first impression! Then this was confirmed when we met our guide which showed us to an amazing night out in Valencia and we all bonded really nicely!

It would be better to have the sinks in the bathroom rather than inside the room as this easil wakes up people who are already sleeping. Unfortunately every night there were people coming in very late or leaving very early so the sleep was not the best.

Super nice hostel and helpful staff. Very good location in walking distance both to the old town and the City of Arts and Sciences. You can also rent a bike at the hostel, though they are not in the best shape. Bathroom very clean.
