Nothing, it was basic but as expected. No hairdryer in the room but ok as we were aware.

The staff (ok only 1 girl really) was brilliant, helpfull and friendly. It is a very Spanish, no frills but everything you need. Lovely setting with views of the lake and loads of sporting facilities on the doorstep. Close to the village of Iznajar that is worth a visit. Although we only stayed for 1 night after a visit to Cordoba the location is good for walking/cycling. We had a lovely meal and wine in the restaurant in the evening. Great value for money. I look forward to going back.

Our room was directly over the entrance and the main door to the hotel banged very loudly and very frequently. Luckily this was locked at night. Breakfast, although plenty available wasn't the most nutritional. We were surprised there wasn't any fresh fruit.

A lovely location overlooking the lake, a bit sad to see the lake at just 15% of capacity. Our room was clean and spacious. Wifi was good. The external areas were attractive and the pool was really pleasant. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. There are pleasant walks directly from the hotel.

Same breakfast every day. Hated all the cigarette and cigar butts outside 🤢. Could do with a regular sweep up.

The location is amazing. Beautiful views. Cannot recall the last time we slept so well. Room so clean. Aircon fab!! Staff are outstanding.

Swimming pool didn’t seem clean.

We loved everything. Food was delicious and the rooms very cosy. Tranquil atmosphere all day except during lunch time that the places attracts many people (for good reasons).

I did not not fancy the restaurant. You need a car to go get around. A sleepy town if not in seasons.

Nice pool with sunbeds and possibilities for shade. Beds and bathrooms was more than axpected for this price. Parking and WiFi was free.

We were in a double room, so 2 people. The bedroom was big but it could not have been more basic. The beds had very old springs, squeaking with every movement. There was only 1 wooden chair, nowhere to sit for 2 people, and nowhere comfy. There was 1 very cheap plastic cup in the bathroom, not 2, and no glass in sight. No hairdryer, no iron, no water nor welcome snacks, no rug on the tiled floor, only 3 hangers..... The worst, however, was only 1 bedside table and no bedside lamps. With very little thought and care, this hotel could be magnificent. Come on, management, sort it out.

The hotel itself is absolutely lovely inside. The decor is very nice and there's a feeling of roominess. The dining room is large and spacious, but the dining chairs could do with some cushions. The food in the evening was delicious, breakfast less so, but adequate. The pool is small but there were plenty of sunbeds, and the view are gorgeous. The staff were friendly and very helpful. This hotel has the potential of being outstanding.

We had a poor experience in the restaurant the first night: The fish (Hake) was inedible. I think it had probably been defrosted too quickly and ended up being rubbery. The burger was also 'solid' with no flavour and again had probably been defrosted too quickly. The room was fine except that the air conditioning was very old and very loud. The breakfast was basic and lacked imagination. Shame really

If you're not coming by car, it's very difficult to reach the place. There is no bus or taxi at Iznajar that go in that direction, and the hotel staff was not very helpful when we asked for help to find a taxi.

The swimming pool and the bar/restaurant are nice.

Ancient AC in Bedroom that did not work Staff not helpfull when told Finance needed by owners to renovate the property .Restaurant meal not good .Potatoes COLD . House white wines poor ONLY 11per cent wines ..

The location was fantastic .The old style building was very Soanish and most attractive The swimming pool was a bonus but needed some love care and attention .

One of the beds we had made a lot of noise and that affected our rest. Also, we expected to have a bath in the swimming pool but it wasn't so clean for that. I guess they didn't open the swim season yet.

Great breakfast with good ingredients like great bread, olive oil, butter and some handmade jams. I loved the orange juice and the coffee. The room was great and the view of the sunset awesome.
