Charming old building located on an escarpment with fine views. Extensive lawns and courtyards, old world furniture and atmospheric ambience. Wonderful welcome by proprietors, who took over the establishment a year or two ago, moving from Mexico. Excellent food with a Mexican touch. Very dog friendly and ideally placed a short distance from the motorway within striking distance of Santander and the ferry to England, yet with very rural feel and lovely walk up the lane opposite. Wonderful place to spend a relaxing time.

A beautiful boutique hotel in a lovely location with beautiful views. This is a great place to stay before heading to or from Santander Ferry. Rodrigo and Maria are great hosts. The food was delicious. Plenty of parking.

Breakfast was good. Hosts were very friendly. We arrived late at 11.00pm and the hosts went out of their way to provide us with a meal although the kitchen was closed.

There was nothing not to like!

An immaculately run small family run hotel and restaurant. Very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Ideally located in the countryside, ideal for Ferry Terminal and some fantastic beaches. Lots of open space and sitting out areas around the grounds. Lovely.

the room, the shower, the owners, the hospitality, the food (great Mexican). it was lovely not having to go out somewhere for dinner, yet still feel like you were eating at a lovely restaurant. beautiful lawn was nice too

Beautiful house set in gorgeous countryside 20 minutes drive from Santander. Excellent food served in the evening, the best meal we had on our trip through Spain. The hosts were very welcoming, I would not hesitate to recommend and hope to stay again in the future.

It’s an old building so maybe there isn’t much they can do about this but it would have been nice to control the lights separately rather than one main switch.

We loved the outlook of the property and on arrival we where impressed by the old features the property still had.The property was spotless.The host was helpful and attentive to our needs.The food was lovely. Dog friendly which we really appreciated .

Pet charge was borderline expensive at 15 euro. Normally pay between 5 and 10 euro.

Loved the ambience of this place. Cecelia was exceptionally welcoming, hope it all works out for you. And Marta sorted out our booking despite the language barrier! Very convenient for Santander Ferry Port.

nothing - it was terrific, just off main routes

the hosts were amazing, looked after us so well when we needed an additional night due to ferry cancellation. the food was amazing and wine really gorgeous and an incredible price for such lovely vino. It was beautifully quiet with quirky local bars within east walking distance. breakfast was lovely - all food freshly made and delicious
