Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MoroccoThe staff are very rude, they don't even speak English and when they don't understand the answers they mislead people, also the bathrooms are not clean, and you can't open the windows of the rooms so it always smells really bad. It's the first and the only hostel they don't have answers for which bus you should take or where is the nearest clinic in case you want to make a PCR test or restaurants... Also you have to wait until 15h to get access to your room even tho the rooms are ready so if you arrived super tired from a travel they don't care you should wait. Unfortunately the pictures and the good reviews the real and the fake ones they mislead people to believe that it's a good place .

ColombiaThe AC is not centralized so anyone in the room can turn it off, or adjust it, someone kept moving it in my room even it was super hot. That made my stay really uncomfortable Also the bed and pillow are super uncomfortable I wouldnt recommed it to anyone staying for more than one night

GermanyProbably the season, but its quite expensive for a bunkbed in a shared room. Our room mates turned out to be a disaster, really loud coming and leaving in the middle of the night. The worst however was that the ac wasn’t working at all - it was really hot in the middle of the summer, sharing a room with other people and not being able to open the window. I asked one of the guys that leaved early in the morning to say something to the guy in the reception but nothing happened so i went down 30 minutes later. He said there was nothing that could be done but i insisted so he came up to open the window - all in all a very expensive night considering that we couldn’t sleep at all
The location is amazing with a rooftop bar overlooking paseo de gracia

GeorgiaThe system of the bed number was really not organized. A lot of people was complaining that some one is sleepin in their bed. One night at 4 o'clock came the guy from the raception and turned on the light, he said that some one should not be in the room (4 beds, 5 people). After 30 min he realized that it was their mistake and changed the room of the last person that came. Offcorse we didn't get any rifound for the night bathering

SwitzerlandThe bed arrangements and cleanliness was something that was terrible for me. The room was smelling all the time, the linen and blanket provided was not sufficient. Personally, the interiors, the ambience, cleanliness and arrangements of room need a lot of work. It was a bit nasty to use the shared toilets and shower. Being a hostel in the city centre my expectations were a lot higher for the quality of accommodation but it was not so.
The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed interacting with them. The location was perfect, it is a safe place to stay but there could be improvements in lot of sectors in terms of comfort.

United KingdomHonestly (I emphasize) the guys(boys) at the reception were absolutely amazing. Super chill, friendly, welcoming, helping and just sharing the good vibes that are supposed to be given. Like bible, they just were the best. Thank you Guys. I’m sorry but the girl at the reception seemed to be irritating, rude and not caring at all. (Sorry not sorry) . Like baby, smile a little bit more. You will like it,I promise you. However the guys compensated for her. Anyways the overall stay was really good. And the room was nice. The bed I say was 8of 10 but still acceptable.

United KingdomDe Nada.
The check in process was easy enough and there was a choice of lifts to the floor I was on. The room was large and had a decent view also. I’m pretty sure there was a bar here too - somewhere near the luggage room. The view from the terrace here is outstanding - you can see more of the roof of the Casa Batlló (I like the fish on that building) as well as everything in the local area for quite a way. Casa Amatller is another Modernist building on the Passeig de Gràcia but there are many curious sights along its whole length which was designed to link the city of Barcelona with the nearby town of Gràcia. Although the Passeig de Gràcia is much longer than just the Illa de la Discòrdia, the hostel is there and I noticed there were many discussions by people (not just about the foolish actions of people who don’t consider other people before stopping in the middle of the pavement) about the relative merits of various buildings along the road.
