That the tourist tax wasn’t advertised when we made the booking so we got a shock when we paid when checking in, as it wasn’t a cheap booking to begin with.

Everything was good, close to the city centre and the shopping mall and restaurants, which made commuting from one place to another very convenient.

We didn’t like the fact that we booked for 5 people, but the space is actually to little for 5 people. The team offered us an additional room for 1 night and a change to a different location for the 2 remaining nights, which we we very much appreciated, but wasn’t practical for us. We also expected a common outside terrace as the Fotos suggest, but there wasn’t.

The property was spacious and modern with all the amenities you could need. It was in a great location, walking distance to loads of lovely cafes and shops. The highlight of the property was the staff. They were extremely friendly and accommodating to our group of 12 - we all arrived at different times and the staff could not have done more to make sure everyone had keys and entry to the accommodation.

We were 6 guests in that apartment: when the sofa was opened into a double bed, it blocked the pathway to the other bedroom. The apartment is ideal for 4 guests

We arrived before our room was ready and, although luggage storage was available, we did not receive any notification when our room was finally available. We also found it incredibly odd that we were responsible for taking out all the garbage to a dumpster on the street.

This property was in a quiet neighborhood, not in the main area of town. Luckily it is steps away from a Metro stop. The metro in Barcelona is exceptionally easy to use. There is a Super Mercat nearby where we could purchase water and other snacks. We appreciated the air conditioning, large refrigerator and freezer, and black out shades in the unit. Importantly, there is a lift which came in very handy with our numerous pieces of luggage as we were on the sixth floor. Overall the property was quiet. We arrived before our room was ready and the front desk staff helped us put our luggage in locked storage. The front desk staff also provided us with a map of town and suggestions about where to eat and sites to see.

The only problems we had was with other guests not being considerate. We had to walk up to the fourth floor because some guests didn’t close to elevator door and one night our neighbours were very loud until 2am.

Stayed here for seven nights and loved our stay. Spacious and clean with all the amenities. This apartment is like a home away from home. Fully equipped kitchen with big fridge&freezer. There’s also a washing machine with dryer. Excellent location right beside the metro station and airport bus (day&night). There’s a little supermarket a few doors down and plenty of restaurants, bakeries and other shops around all at walking distance.

Need a TV in the bed room. loudly kids voice outside after 1:30 pm so can’t take a nap, need a walls isolation. price for a night is in a high side. need to replace the elevator with a new, bigger and faster one. need to allowed for check in before 3:00 pm.

looks old. elevator too old and might stick anytime. one night was stuck in floor 4. thanks god nobody was there. reception closed early so if left stuck @ night then you will be in trouble because nobody can help you. hotel hired a support company 24/7 but they are not in the building neither in the area.

Very clean apartment. Excellent location. Right next to the metro. Fantastic for families with children. Competent staff at the lobby. They helped me with the taxi to the airport. We are very happy with our stay in the apartment.

The shower was slow to drain and didn’t retain water from the bathroom floor when the shower door was closed. The lights needed to be on in order for the outlets in the bedroom to work. That was weird and inconvenient.

We couldn't get extra towels or extra blankets, if you stay for less than a week you have to clean the room yourself.

As others have mentioned - the elevator was tiny and could be somewhat slow during peak times. In general - this did not hinder our enjoyment of the apartment - with older buildings, the older elevators were expected.

The Eric Vokel Gran Via suites were clean, comfortable and ideally located right on the red subway line (Rocafort station) and close to the Sants train station. The staff (Carolina, Julia & Eva) were very helpful and responsive whenever we needed room supplies, recommendations or other help. Overall a delightful stay - many thanks!
