Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Good value, nice location and friendly staff. But my bed may be too close to the main hall, I could hear some people talking after midnight that I couldn’t sleep well several nights. Lockers and other facilities are making noise easily and some roommates are not even trying to minimum the noise even after midnight. The shower room is a bit hard to use cus you need to keep pushing the bottom.

The worst part was, somebody stole the eggs I had bought, in less than an hour from the kitchen, even before I have any of them. shower was not hot enough.
The beds were comfortable. closet was locked by card which was safe. in fact everything was locked by card which was great. kitchen and lobby was comfortable. location was perfect.

Nice hostel with a lot of common spaces, good wifi, and a huge roof terrace. They have bike rental and staff are nice. In my other review I said they only have cold water in the showers - but that was a temporary problem and now it's fixed.

Some guests entered in the room during the night(1am) making some noise but after some complaints the staff rapidly solved the problem, he was very fast, wise and precise 😁
Location was very interesting, I would go back certainly. Since I was a hostel staff for almost 2 years in the past, there were some good details in this hostel that really called my attention! The hostel makes the guests very comfortable to contact them for any help just adding stickers near to the bed and also in the toilets providing administration what's up number for quick contact. That's wonderful! It was innovative and the company shows how much they care about their customers experience!

Have to pay for towels.

thin and uncomfortable mattress. smelly rooms with lack of air. a 30m walk thru the reception, lounge and kitchen to reach toilet and shower. there is no bathroom close to the room.

The staff are very nice. Everything is good. One thing about the city tax, which is 5 pounds per night I should have awared before the check-in.

The bed was very firm.
The location was very convinrent to go major sightseeing places on foot. The hotel was very well cleaned and good enough to rest for a solo traveler. The stuff was very friendly as well.

There was no hot water in the shower. Maybe it needed to wait for a long time because of low season and not full booking

The room is a bit stuffy. It could have better ventilation.

I was in a room on the ground floor and it was very moist, so my towel was never dry. Nowehere to put one's things in the shower.
Great location, close to public transport, cafés and grocery stores. Clean room, personal locker (with automatic lock), light and charger + curtain. Big kitchen area with space for work as well. Terrace on the 2nd floor. It was possible to leave luggage after check-out in a payed locker (XL locker was 8 euros) until 23:59.
