The shower is far from everything else and it is a communal one. The kitchen is closed during certain times of the night.

I really liked that they had a blackout curtain and a communal space to hangout! the beds were clean and there’s security lockers that worked well. I stayed in an 18 bedder and things were a lot cleaner than I thought. I felt safe as a solo female traveller.

I immediately noticed I had insect bites following the first night stay on my ankles which I suspect was caused either by fleas or mosquitoes.. The bites became infected and very swollen. I cannot evidence that it was the fault of the hostel but there were no windows in the room and I didn't see or hear mosquitos so suspect fleas. The bites did effect the enjoyment of my holiday as walking was painful and needed treatment from the pharmacy. We hired three bikes from the hostel during our stay. It appears the cycles are not regularly maintained as only one was in full working order whilst the others had loose handle bars and faulty cranky gears which didn't become obvious immediately until we were some distance from the hostel, making them difficult to use. Informed the staff on our return but their response did not give me confidence the bikes would be fixed for the next customer and they were immediately put away with the rest of the bikes. Electricity tripped leaving the bathroom and laundry without electricity on our last day. Waiting to shower whilst the issues were dealt with delayed our checking out. Literally five minutes after checking out time a staff member came into the dorm to rudely tell us in front of others that they were waiting for us to check out. This man had also been rude when I informed him there was no electricity, assuming I was wrong. However, during our stay all other staff were pleasant and helpful.

Great location, most tourist attractions can be reached within a 20 minutes walk. Very close to bus station and metro. Large kitchen and dining area. Felt safe. Large outside roof terrace. Comfortable beds with light, charger and locker. Opportunity to participate in free guided tours. Paella night was great and I had two large helpings for only 5 Euros. First experience of using a hostel. The beds were very close to each other in quite a narrow room lined with bunk beds and other people were noisy, chatting during the night, however ear plugs helped me to get a good night's sleep.

The light on the room should be off a bit earlier. The showers should have individual lights.

The location is excellent and all the staff are very friendly. There are courtains on the beds for more privacy and plugs everywhere. The whole place is very clean.

In a nutshell really fine. Some guys on the reception wasn’t so friendly, but not annoying. and the location is fine. the cleaning was great and activities on the stay, are good and so fun

The only drawback was the bathroom not being very comfortable; you couldn't change the direction the water was coming from. Apart from that, there was a timer which was short: every 15 secs (or 20 secs in some cabins) you needed to press the button because the water automatically stopped. It was a bit annoying.

The stuff was really helpful and gave amazing recommendations. The beds were comfortable and there were curtains, something important for privacy and isolation. Good lockers with the use of the card. Nice common areas and activities. Great location, close to most main attractions.

It was very cold. Especially at night in the dorm.so cold I shiver and couldn't sleep. Shower took 10 mins plus to warm up then temperature greatly fluctuated with quick succsion. Vast amounts of wasted water with every use.

I had a very good stay in the hostel. Everything was clean and functional. I had one card that opened the door to the building, the bedroom door and my locker. My bed had drapes for intimacy and a power outlet. The lights automatically turn off after 11pm but you have a small lamp next to your bed if you want to keep reading, be on your phone etc. The bathrooms were always clean and I never had to wait. There is also a terrace! On the whole, the common area (kitchen space and sofas) was calm but with friendly people, open to chat. As a girl travelling alone, I felt very safe. I would recommend this hostel to someone staying in Barcelona.

No oven in kitchen area or if there was we couldn't find it and shower heads had a weird angle making it hard to wash and some timers were short misleading repeated button pushing

toilet and shower room not so clean, the shower has a press tap, have to press every 5 second to keep the water running the air conditioner goes on and off frequently, quite anoying for sleeping

Bad air conditioning in the rooms, probably because they could not open the windows since it was too cold outside. Lighting in the room was too bright until too long into the night. Sleeping mask recommended. Showers were not that good (mostly cold, broken locks)
