I think it was the best hostel in my life! So cosy, comfortable for living and cooking, with very nice staff and such a great location for walking and training! Definitely can recommend it! I would like to come back here ❤️

It was mid-February. The room was humid-cold (15C - 59F), and the policy does not allow for space heaters. The additional blankets provided did not dry or heat the room's cold air. The the room and kitchen are poorly lit at night. My room faced the steep street under which is the town's plaza and garden. The cars noisily roared uphill between 7:30 am - 10 pm. The night, though, was blessed with silence. The communal rooms, mixed gender/bunk beds are quieter. During the day there was remodel noise downstairs. The room's window didn't open. One bathroom had great shower water pressure, and the other, miserable. The bathroom lacked a floor squeegee and was always wet and slippery. There were no trash cans in the room or the bathroom per policy. Yet all in all, despite these shortcomings, I enjoyed my stay tremendously because of the location, the ambiance, the good wi fi, and the friendly owners and staff.

Great, spectacular location on the island -- excellent base for hiking (drive to trailhead or use public transportation); hostel is in center of town, short walk to cafes, restaurants, supermarket; great communal ambience due to friendly, knowledgeable, helpful owners and staff and interesting, congenial guests to share the communal space and experiences with -- with wide age range; well equipped kitchen + roof with a glorious view. The hostel is very clean, with good quality bed sheets, blankets and towels. The wi-fi is stable with reasonable speed. The room faced the town's main plaza and garden.

I would suggest having a pair of earplugs on hand due to the church bells and I think a workshop nearby.

A very friendly welcoming hostel close to many hiking trails and also with the most wonderful terrace overlooking the ocean. A well equipped and clean kitchen and clean bathroom facilities.

Bubango is a lovely place to stay in a quiet town on La Palma within easy reach of the airport and other main attractions to the island. The place is super clear and well maintained with a nice mix of private rooms and dorms.

Lovely welcoming place. Plenty of space to relax. Our room looked over the square, had a great time people watching and relaxing. We needed to because we walked the GR130 northern section next day. Check out the ACANTILADOS DEL NORTE SKYRACE for an idea of the terrain beyond and good luck to Szymon who is training to run it!!

It’s a real gem! I could not believe how nice and well maintained the place was - dormitory, bathroom, kitchen, terrace - everything was stylish and functional. Compared to other La Palma hostals, this is a diamond shining bright.

Really nice hostel, probably the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in with a great kitchen and terrace. Comfy beds with curtains and plugs 👍🏻 Everything seems really new and stylish. The host and volunteers are super friendly and will give you great tips for hiking (GR 130, Los Tilos etc), restaurants, natural pools etc in the area. Take in mind that the hostel is rather a calm/quiet place, perfect to relax but sometimes the kitchen and terrace felt a little bit empty (that's not really a con as this is definitely a hostel to chill and a great base for outdoor activities)

A nearby church bell tolls every hour so some may find the bell annoying. I found it amusing.

The hostel has a great view over the village square from its excellent patio deck. A Spar grocery store and bus stops are just a minute's walk from the hostel.
