Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceNothing. All good.
Super clean with very comfortable bed and linen. After a week of albergues on the Camino Norte, this place hit the spot for a good night's rest. Restaurants downstairs too.

BelgiumDear all, Here is my small review. I booked 6 days in here. The reception lady was kind enough to wait for my arrival from santander Airport until 18:00. At first the room was clean, nice and enough towels. Switching on the room light for the first time, it was not working, so it took them a day to fix it. I had only bed side lights. Day by day: I notice the number of towels is getting less and less by the cleaning lady. 4th day: there was no water from 10 till 14:00. I had trainings in the afternoons, so the next day I usually just want to sleep. I would put something in my broken spanish on the door that I do want to sleep and kindly no cleaning for today but it seemed that the lady did not like that, how? I do not know. 4th day: bed sheets changed but had either blood spots or chocolate spots on them next the two cushions, they were as though they were changed from another bed room and put there without even being washed in the mashine. 5th day: I had no choice but to leave at 10 in the morning, a day earlier than the check-out date. No refund as booking.com requires!! If I am traveling a 1000 mile to settle for a few days in this hostel that I chose among many and paying my money, I expect a good service in return; probably next time. It is not so much asked for. Kind regards

United KingdomI specifically asked for overnight parking only to be told that the parking area was full. I was directed to an underground carpark which cost as much as the hotel. The entire area around the hotel was residents only except for a very small period during the day, overnight was not possible. The Staff directed me to the ONLY free street parking, approximately half a mile uphill from the hotel. Dubious area to park, unlit streets and derelict buildings. Not impressed but beyond the responsibilities of the Staff. The room itself overlooked a very busy plaza full of cafes and restaurants. Very noisy for the entire evening and into the night and restarted at approximately 0700hrs. Again, not the fault of the Staff. The shower would only permit entry to skinny people. The shower head was loose and hanging off. No disrespect to the staff but I will not be rebooking. It is what it is. If you enjoy city-life [I don't] you will enjoy the night life. The room was clean and tidy. Everything is within walking distance. Not for me, but I consider myself hard to please.
The Staff were excellent and spoke very good English.

MexicoReceptionist at the Pension was impolite and unfriendly, quite an exception in my many years of traveling. Room itself was tiny, eg no chairs because it was tiny; and room door at an angle to the inside wall swings within 3 inches of it when you open it, complicating entry expecially for a couple. Balcony might have been 5 five square feet and with no view, except street below.. Certainly not a place we would return to.
City and beach were great, as was eating out.

GermanyA lot: It smelled like cigarette smoke in the room, the room was tiny. Really dirty. Beds are very small for two people. Personal mostly didn't speak English. Wifi was only working at reception. Worst thing: even tho 24/7 reception was advertised, no one answered at reception or at telephone at 6 am when we wanted to check out. We put the key into the postbox and send them a message asking to confirm the checkout. To this day no answer.
