There's nothing that I didn't like, for the price, everything was as good as expected.

It was cozy, sparkling clean and also spacious for a large group of people. The best part of this stay was definitely the location, the location is spectacular, you're close to everything from the Gran Vía, to Sol, to Palacio Real, you can get anywhere with the Metro and Gran Vía Metro Station is literally a 3 minutes walk from the Hostal, this will definitely be my stay for the next time.

It would be nice to have a sign to place on the door to indicate whether you want the room to be cleaned. The refrigerator was too noisy, so I had to unplug it (I didn’t use it). There was sometimes noise from outside, especially construction work starting at 9 a.m. only Friday (but of course, that’s necessary too).

The accommodation is extremely well located! All services are nearby, and you can visit the city center on foot and return in just five minutes after a night out. The hosts are welcoming and available. My lamp wasn’t working, but it was quickly fixed—when I returned, the room had been cleaned, and the issue was resolved. I had all the amenities I needed, and the bed was comfortable.

The room we stayed in was facing the busy street and was very noisy at night, the house was not soundproofed and we could hear the noise of night partying outside all night long.

Great location and very convenient to get to in any direction. The owners are very nice.

Location is fantastic, it is walking distance to the major museums and park, very convenient for restaurants and the metro .The airport bus stops in Cibelle, 10 minute walk. I had a double bedroom with a window to the inner courtyard. The room was bright and quiet at night. It had air conditioning and a fridge. It was cleaned every day and there was enough storage in the room..

Communication before check in wasnt so great. It was hard to have a shower, water pressure wasn’t good and shower head kept falling. Their double bed is 2 single beds put together with 2 single sheets each. Room was a bit tiny for the 4 of us.

It's a small place, in a very rowdy location (although centrally located). There is only a small window, but I guess it's also good to ensure the room stays dark at night.

The host was very, very friendly. The place was cleaner than expected, and the cleaning staff really do their job well. My partner and I are quite sensitive to smells of smoke, so they sprayed the room with ozone prior to our arrival.

The balcony was very small, not quite a proper balcony, you can not have expectations to stay there on a table with a chair. The toilet was average in terms of general conditions, but clean.

The location is very well positioned, close to the city center, very safe for 2 women travelling. The staff was very nice, helpful, good value for money. They were cleaning every single day.

Lovely lady greeted me and helped carry my suitcase down 1 flight of stairs. The room was basic , clean and comfortable. Was a good location but was on a noisy street. Liked the shops and bars/restaurants nearby.

The bathroom was clean but a little small/pokey, especially to get around the door and to use the toilet. The toilet bowl itself was not secured well to the floor so we had to be careful getting on and off and could be repaired. After cleaning, the bathroom had a smell of old sponges, rather than a nice smell. It felt otherwise clean so this could be an easy thing to fix!

The hostal was very well located in then heart of Chueca. When we arrived and throughout our stay the manager was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and was cleaned daily. A lovely window/balcony meant with had good natural light during the day and wooden shutters and curtains for the evening. We knew that there would be lively noise in the evening and there was, but nothing that couldn't be solved by a pair of earplugs!

It can be very noisy if you have bad luck with other guests staying there. There's no much sound isolation from other rooms around so any minor noise made by other guests is easily heared. The pillow was terrible, it is a long single pillot for a double bed and hard as a rock, I had so much trouble for getting a good sleep because of that. There is a shared microwave but apparently it doesn't get cleaned often

Staff service was great, Mar (the host) was so nice when we checked in and gave us very valuable tips to move around and what places to visit. Location is great, all major touristic places are at walkable distance. Plenty of commerce and food restaurants around, metro station (Gran Via) around the corner, bus stop, etc.

Overall it was great. A kettle would have been nice and closer parking.
