many reviews regarding the stairs. there were a bit of a killer bit we were away from before our booking. I wouldn’t say it was a negative but something to be mindful of if you had mobility issues.

fantastic location, couldn’t stress this enough. everything you need for a stay if you don’t plan on spending too much time in your accomodation. facilities such as shared bathroom were clean. room was quite small but again just somewhere good to rest after a big day of exploring

Just be aware this is up a few flights of stairs, easy if you're fit with just a backpack and so on but not suitable for the infirm. That's all.

Friendly welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Brilliant for solo travellers, you have your own room, with a lock, and access to kitchen to make up simple microwave meals. Large fridge, communal area with a TV and shared toilets /showers. I would thoroughly recommend Hostal Nitzs (nights) to anyone willing to share their living space. Met some lovely people, including the owners who are very helpful. Thanks guys.

During 2 days what we stayed in hostel nobody clean toilets and shower rooms. Also kitchen was dirty. Microwave already very old and dirty. Same with waterboil.

Super friendly staff, very helpful. The location is AMAZING- right in the heart of the gothic quarter and short walk from all the central locations of BCN (port, Columbus statue, Cathedrals, Ramblas, etc) - also short walk from busses/metro to get to other locations in the city. The only thing (which they emphasize in their website and all the emails before arrival) is that they are located on a 4th floor without any elevator, so it was good that I had just a small trolly with me, but if you're coming with a large suitcase it's going to be a tough climb up the stairs) Other than that - for this cost if was a really great room with a private bathroom, lots of hot water and overall peaceful and quit location)

The steep winding staircase shouldn't be underestimated! The room was small and barely even had a shelf - no storage space. Thin walls.

Good location, clean, had a bit of extra facilities than many hostels have (shampoo, common kitchenette). Had a tiny balcony in the room overlooking the street. Helpful staff.

Thin walls so we could hear the neighbors; however, this wasn't an issue for us; very creaky bed.

Amazing staff, very helpful. We could use the toilets and leave our bags before check in and after check out. Clean rooms; good, quiet location, common kitchen available with free tea and coffee.

Walls are thin, so you'd hear your neighbours coughing. But hey, it's a hostel so I didn't mind. Other guests were respectful so I could sleep at night. Curtains could be bit cleaner in the rooms but for the rest room was super clean. Thank you for the nice stay! :)

Very friendly service wit clear introduction. Accessible kitchen with tea to use for guests and fridge and other stuff (didn't use it though). Accessible common area/ living room.

The balcony is super small and room could be cleaner... we could hear loads of noise from the people on the floor above. There were no individual pilows just a big one.

We arrived quite late. I think there was some issue with the phone and whatsapp calls.

Nice location. No problems with checkouts and requests. Best to choose accommodation if you have lighter luggage.
