This place is a fire trap. Smoke detectors seem to have been removed. There is no way out on to the foot if you can’t go down. There could be- the metal door is locked and the window has bars! The room was just too small.

Tiny room with a tiny uncomfortable bed for 2 people, extremely hot. The room had 2 fans which did not make the stay any more comfortable, really needs air-conditioning. Facilities not very clean. We left the accom 1 night early as we couldn't stand to be in the hot room any more.

There were a lot of stairs up to the hostel; hard if you have a lot of luggage. The beds were hard and uncomfortable and there was no aircon/ limited fans and cannot opwn window which was too hot in summer

The AC was only in the hallway so the temperature in the room was above 30 degrees all the time even at night so we could barely sleep, and the room fan didn’t help at all. The floors were dirty and the sheets had stains on them, we were staying there for a week and they didn’t change sheets not once. The staff wasn’t very polite. The Fridge was barely working.

The room is sold with aircon, but there's not. There's a ceiling fan, but that's not enough to keep the room cold. We had to sleep with the windows open and outside is very noisy till 2am.

The position is amazing. The sink in the room is pretty handy.

The room seems different from what I saw in the picture when I booked (much more cramped). The room has no air conditioner, so I don't recommend staying here during the hot season. Also, we got all of our cash stolen while we were sleeping in the middle of late night on the last day of staying, So I can say here it is not safe to stay at all. I am sure somebody invaded our room late at night even though we slept on the bed, and he/she took all of the cash from the wallet. And about the cleanliness, it was more or less fine for me but if you are sensitive about cleanliness I refer that I saw some stains and worn-out holes on the bed sheets.

The staff was friendly and nice. And the location is very nice to start your tour so you don't need much transportation to visit the main tourist places. And as you know everything is expensive in BCN, here is relatively cheaper than other accommodations near this area. Apart from this, you need to reconsider.

Would have been nice to be able to leave my luggage at the hostel a bit longer after checkout (could only do so until 5pm) but it wasn't too much of an issue for me.

The location can't be beat and the hostal felt very safe. My single room was small but comfortable, had everything I needed including a nice balcony with a view. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There are two bathrooms and at least one was available whenever I needed it.

Walking up 4 flight of stairs to get to there. Especially when you have been travelling for a while and have a large suitcase. Also the wall were pretty thin. I had to tell my neighbour to lower the noise at midnight as it was so loud

This hotel is on the 4th floor and there's no lyft/elevator. if you have big luggage, I don’t totally recommend this hotel because nobody is gonna help you
