Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

That I had to leave
Best hostel, I've ever stayed so far. They have different axtivtites where you are more than welcome to be part of.... they had a free dinner for everyone which was really nice. I've made some good friends there thanks to the activities.

If you really want to experience Barcelona, this is a hostel you will definitely want to experience. In fact, it's more like a family home than a hostel. A family dinner takes place every evening. There are sightseeing tours during the day. You can also experience the nightlife with your new friends staying here. If you really want to relax, this is not a hostel you can choose. Because it offers constant socialization opportunities amazing staff A hostel where you can make pleasant memories with its members. I was happy to see my name on the board at the entrance on the day of check-in. The hostel is managed by an extremely polite and dynamic group. Thanks for everything. I will come again to experience the real Barcelona!

The beds could be more comfortable, other than that everything else was good.
The staff and cleanliness, especially the girl that received me named Alondra. Wonderful person helped me get settled in, and made me feel at home.

The facilities were much more spacious than most hostels and very clean. It had a family atmosphere and was a great place to make new friends. The events organized were also great.

Nothing that you wouldn't like
Right from when you enter until you leave the place you feel loved. The super amazing hosts Mattea (authentic Italian pasta or the doppelganger of Britney Spears), Paige (a sweet kiwi), Jeff, and Katerina are always cheerful. They have fun activities lined up all day inside and outside the hostel. Tour around the city, bar, club, beaches, etc. And a very special dinner too! And they charge for none of it. The place is crystal clean, the beds are good, and they are very considerate when it comes to checkout and luggage handling. Location, too, is amazing.

This hostel has everything you need for a good trip. The social atmosphere was incredibles. The afternoon activities and family dinners were the main highlights. The hostel is cosy and has comfy beds with curtains.

The staff was very friendly and ready to help us at any time. the events were great and making new friends was easy. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Toilets, showers and kitchen were also fine. In short, you can't expect more from a Hostel, so I definitely recommend it.

Stayed for five nights, and everything went smoothly. The staff was super friendly, and the atmosphere was incredible. This place is all about events every night starts with fun drinking games, making it easy to connect with people before heading out to party together. I’ve met so many amazing people here and made lifelong friends. If you’re traveling solo or just want to meet awesome people, this is the place to be. Can’t wait to come back!

For those who doesn't like socialisation the energy there maybe over welcoming haha, but it's not my case hehe.
It's one of the best hostel experience that I've ever had. Everyone I met there are so nice and warm, no matter they are staff, volunteers or travellers. They have different branches in the city, and organise vibrant activities everyday. I was on my solo trip and made some new friends there. We experienced the city and went clubbing together haha. I would say onefam is definitely a good choice for you no matterr it is your first time living in a hostel, or you are an experienced backpacker, if you enjoy making friends and exploring the city with open-minded travellers.

Everything was good.
We were very happy with the hostel. The girl who met us was very friendly and told us all the nuances, even recommended the nearest cafe, where we had a very tasty paella and other dishes. The rooms and in general the whole hostel was very clean, cozy and comfortable. Very comfortable beds with curtains. The hostel has a friendly atmosphere with different activities and even free excursions. Thank you very much for your hospitality and good atmosphere.
