Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThis is such a lovely place to stay, the village is small but very traditional looking. We loved the views, and the rooms, beds and pillows were comfortable. We had an evening meal there, it was very tasty, great value, and the staff were lovely. The breakfast equally was delicious. It was such a peaceful night's sleep, we would definitely stay again.

IrelandWe loved its authenticity. It is a small, cute and spotless clean spot that enables you to relax and forget from the buzz and fuzz from the city. Very generous breakfast and delicious dinner after a hole day hiking in the region. The staff is also fenomenal and extremely nice. We had planned a few hikes in the area and chose to sleep there given the good reviews and it didn’t disappoint.

United StatesIt's an exaggeration to say that we did not like the inability to converse, since there was very little English spoken. That's our problem, not theirs. They made every effort, as did we, and everything worked out just fine.
Arbolí is well off the beaten path, but beautiful If you like rural and rustic. This is a beautiful, small hotel with a very attentive staff. The rooms are small and very clean. The dining room is lovely, and the dinner was delicious. In February there were few (maybe none) tourists, not much activity, but the drive to the town was beautiful and you just hope that there are more small hotels like this in small out of the way places, that are managed by attentive staff that are doing their best to enhance your vacation.

SwitzerlandBeautiful small auberge in the mountains close to Priorat. Excellent "simple" food. The route down into the main Priorat region is far to winding to recommend this hostelet as a base for visiting wineries and the Escaladei monastry, but the views, hikes and rock climbs around the mountain village are spectacular.

ArgentinaThere was no air conditioner in the bedroom. However, Arboli has a great temperature so we had a great temperature in the bedroom just by opening the window.
Arbolí is a little paradise, surrounded by vegetation, the team that received us at the inn was kind and thoughtful. Moreover, the breakfast was complete with bread, sweets, coffe, orange juice, some cheese and ham.

SwitzerlandCosy hotel high up in the mountains. Clean, quiet. Excellent simple food and wine. Quite easy to reach from Tarragona, but be prepared that the route down into the Priorat region is narrow and winding and takes a lot of time - recompensation comes from a beautiful landscape and vegetation and spectacular views!

United StatesThe shower was rather old fashioned, and could be improved. My room faced the next building, so no particular view. The WiFi could mainly be used in the dining room or the bar.
The host was very kind. Though the town streets are rather narrow, the L'Hostalet is off the main road, and has a livelier that spans it. It was pleasant to fo for a walk early in the morning. There are well marked trails starting from the town boundaries. The breakfast was not sophisticated, but well prepared and the service was good.

United KingdomWe were just stopping off on our way up the coast to Andorra and didn't anticipate how slow it would be to reach the hotel from the main road as it is right in the mountains, so a bit of an unnecessary diversion for us personally and nothing to do in the village in the evening.
Super friendly little hotel with a good value evening menu and nice breakfast. Room for 2 adults and 2 children was clean and cosy. The location in the village is perfect for mountain activities (walking and climbing).
