Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicBut (for me) it's better to pay a little extra and find a more comfortable hostel, only one toilet for one floor, small bathroom, quality and cleanliness of equipment
Location is near the beach and city center, terrace When I was here it was really quiet and mutual respect not to disturb others The quality corresponds to the price,

UruguayThere is no hot water in the showers. Also no possibility to take a normal shower because they weren't hanging on the wall. The beds were okay but the steps of the bunk beds where not comfortable to climb.
Location was great and staff were helpful and friendly. Very good vibe.

United KingdomNot much room to get changed and cleaned up in the shower room. Would be nicer if the toilets weren't in the same place as the showers as well.
Staff were excellent throughout. Location is great, 5 mins to beach, cafes/bars on doorstep. Very secure, passcode to get in, lockers in rooms. Quiet after 10pm, so a decent night sleep. Showers good, kitchen facilities above expectation, and a huge rooftop to spend evenings out on.

United KingdomI’ve stayed here before and the only issue I had was slipping down the stairs from the terrace during the night after rainfall. I was told that wouldn’t be an issue next time I stayed as the roof toilets were being renovated. The toilets have now been renovated, but they’re not available during the night so the problem remains. You should allow upstairs guests access to the upstairs toilets somehow. The stairs have no bannister halfway down and are very slippy when wet.
I like this hostel as the kitchen is kept clean and tidy, the common areas are frequently cleaned, the staff are lovely and helpful and the WiFi is strong enough for me to work all day in the remote working area.

United KingdomJust a few little things. No mirror in room 5. No table to put things on if you were in an upper bunk (it’s rude to put things on other peoples lower beds) No wall hangers either - like I said, just little things. Not much room in the girls toilet and the only toilets were downstairs, which led to the ugly….. On my last morning I fell down the wet stairs early in the morning after it had rained. Totally ruined my next plans to hike in the mountains as I ended up at the hospital with tissue damage to my right foot. They really should have handrails on the lower section and make towels available to dry the stairs when they know rain is due. Despite having a great stay, this has probably ruined the rest of my holiday. I’m now in my next hostel in the mountains, unable to move my foot.
As with most hostels, there’s the good, the bad and the ugly. This hostel was very good in so many respects. I worked there for 8 hours a day for the first few days of my holiday with no WiFi issues at all. The kitchen was amazing! Incredibly well organised and with everything I could need. It really was the best I’ve stayed in and I’ll happily go back. Bedding was clean, decent towels were provided. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The other guests were also very friendly, it seemed to foster that kind of environment. I really will be back despite the bad and the ugly.

United KingdomThe upstairs terrace closes at 10, so for late-night social time you'll need to leave the hostel (not really a downside, just something you should be aware of).
Hostel staff were great and accomodated my request for a fan. The location is excellent - only a few mins walk from bars, resturants and (of course) the beach!

United StatesIt's a mixed room so there are both men and women staying in the same hostel room. The bunks were clean enough (although I'm not sure how religiously they tend to bed bugs... I always have some doubts with hostels) but I was a bit disappointed with bed comfort; the mattress was thin.
It was less than a 10 minute walk to the beach, for me it was a good location and close to everything I needed.
