Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyIt was a bit noisy in the room, the door from the kitchen area to our room let through a lot of noise so would wake us up if other guests talked outside or went up the stairs in heels. While the code system was super convenient, the lack of anybody at the reception didn't make the stay particularly personal or welcoming.
The location is really great. All the main sights are in easy walking distance, the cathedral is literally at the end of the street! The entire hotel was spotlessly clean. The code system is really convenient and I appreciated being able to leave my luggage system before and after check in/check out.

FranceThe room is nice, though the view is a wall. Location is amazing. But be aware that the private bathroom is separated from the room by a glass wall without curtain, you can see the toilets from the bed. Depends who you are traveling with :D

United KingdomThe accommodation feels more like an upscale hostel. It has all the amenities you need and at first glance looks clean but there’s a weird lingering smell (not unpleasant but also not pleasant). Rooms are small but reasonable for what was paid. I’d consider staying here again but would probably explore other options first.
Excellent location in central Seville! Staff were also helpful and responsive when we had issues with the shower and had questions about attractions.

United KingdomThe room got warm and stuffy and the AC was difficult to work out. It was quite noisy from the street at night so if you are a light sleeper might struggle
Very easy to find - great communication before arrival, fantastic location to explore Seville. The rooms are quirky and communal area is well set up. The map and recommendations in the room were a lovely touch.

FranceQuite noisy. Bins trucks pick up the trash at 4am every morning, and street cleaning crews are working around 7am. Not horrible, but not the best sleep either.
Great location, nice modern decor, comfortable bed. Access to kitchen / fridge / coffee machine was great.

United KingdomThe wi-fi was a bit iffy to be frank. There was also an issue where the a/c wasn't working (which in Sevilla in July is very much a necessity), it took a while to be fixed but it took a lot of running around by the staff and a lot of sitting and sweating by me.
The room was clean and well decorated. The location is also fantastic - a 2 minute walk to the Cathedral and the Alcazar. It's also very close to the retail area (which, not to worry, aren't anything like more busier metropolitan centres i.e. Madrid or Barcelona). The staff, when there, were friendly and approachable. The communal areas, the kitchen and sofas, were also very comfortable.

Netherlands- I booked a more expensive room with a terrace. When I got to the location, I noticed my room was on the 1st floor beside the communal lounge and kitchen. All night while trying to sleep I could hear people making food, pots and pans banging. There was SO much traffic coming up and down the stairs which made it impossible to sleep. I rang the emergency number and they moved me to a free room above but told me I'd have to pay a cleaning fee as I had selected this room on this specific floor... not true. In the end I didn't pay the cleaning fee as obviously I did not choose a room in a terrible location of the building. Noting that the staff were very kind but the reviews for this space on booking.com send the wrong message. Stay here if you're not looking for a good nights rest and are happy with lots going on around your room. - Pillows were terrible, you need to upgrade them. - Security. I was traveling alone and imagine the space is secure enough but with no staff onsite anyone could follow in a guest and roam around. They don't have standard hotel looks inside the room to give you that added feeling of security... this is crucial and needs to be added.
- Room was nice, big and clean. Easy to find the building
