Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Lovely hotel , right in the center of Malaga. Five/ ten minute walk to all attractions. Breakfast lovely, staff really pleasant and room fabulous - very clean and spacious.

They use a deodorant inside the room and it has a very strong smell. The location of the parking is not very well explained on booking.com so if you are arriving by car don’t expect a parking nearby and prepare to carry your luggage on foot for about 5 minutes.
The location was excellent. The room was very clean and the staff was helpful.

It was nice that in the room there were capsule coffee available, however it was a bit tricky to make the coffee when mugs were too big to fit under the capsule machine. Also in the breakfast the capsule coffees were a bit slow to use, but luckily there was not too many others at breakfast at the same time. Also, the building is old and so is the elevator. For me this was not an issue, since I only needed for my luggage when I check in and check out, but it could be an issue, if one can't walk stairs. But all of these are minor details and they were not issue for me, I was really pleased at my stay here.
The hotel was in small alley and I almost missed it since there was no big signs outside, but this was really a hidden gem. I really liked the vibe and interior inside, it was quiet and peaceful. My room looked even better than in pictures and it was really spacious, so I was positively surprised. Bed was good and I slept really well. Staff was super friendly and they gave me excellent tips. In the breakfast there was enough options. Location was great, near all the main sightseeing's and for example the beach was in 20 minutes walking distance.

Very nice and cosy hotel located in the middle of the city center. Before our arrival we got a message with some explanations regarding parking and how to reach the hotel. Beds are very comfortable. Staff is extremely helpful and professional.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, and everything was spotless, from the lobby to the common areas. Absolutely nothing...it was amazing
Everything was faultless. Would highly recommend for anyone travelling to Malaga. Great location, super comfy bed, fabulous shower, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Check out up to midday, and you can leave your luggage without any hassle if your flight is later in the day. Will most definitely book this property again.

The room was ready and we were allowed an early check in. Staff so nice and good knowledge of area. Room very clean ( not huge but sufficient). Nice bathroom. Lovely indoor courtyard area. Walk out of property and within walking distance of bars, restaurants, tourist spots.

The one thing that wasn’t good for me but was fine for my partner was the pillows. I like a flatter pillow but they were way too big for me and I had to sleep without one which wasn’t ideal. Perhaps I could have asked reception if they had a thinner one and I didn’t so certainly not a deal breaker.
Everything about this hotel was fantastic. Rooms were decorated tastefully, it was quiet but only a few yards from the bars, restaurants and shops, breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. It was January but the room was warm.

Shower doors were not functioning properly (they were not closing well).
We had a quiet room, very nicely decorated and with comfortable beds. Breakfast was also included and it was pretty good. Close to the main attractions and surrounded by many restaurants. Would stay there again.
