Very clean and quiet for a Hostel, with lots of organized activities. Great location. Extremely nice and helpful receptionists, they’ve let us leave our bags in a locked room so that we could roam through Barcelona while waiting for our flight in the evening. I can only recommend it and would stay here again.

I have the most positive experience of staying at Mambo Tango! First of all, it was thanks to the super friendly and helpful administrators available 24/7. The hostel’s location is great, close to metro, cable car, within a walking distance to the main sites. The bed was super comfortable and neat, and you could have privacy and uninterrupted sleep with the curtains that make your bed your completely personal space. Air conditioning worked perfectly. Showers were probably quite small, but it wasn’t a big deal. There’s a large living room to hang out and a kitchen equipped with literally everything downstairs from the reception. You can have a coffee/tea/water any time; and filter coffee was sooo good! Moreover, they serve a complimentary “small” breakfast every day which is more than enough - coffee, milk, toasts with jam, fruit, various pastries… I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely come back!

The wifi was only at the door and it was weak. Even the TV in the room said "No wi-fi connection". The room looks fresher on the photo. The shower is very old, as if from the USSR. I fell for the normal photos. Right at the entrance to the room is a smoking room. The room stank horribly of cigarette smoke all the time, and you can hear every sound from this smoker. I literally could not sleep normally because from 23:00-03:00 someone was constantly filling my room with cigarette smoke, while listening to loud videos on the phone or talking. I only came to the hotel to sleep and never once managed to get a good night's sleep.

We got double room with private bathroom. That room is really bad for the price. I assume dorm rooms are better condition than double, because in the room you can feel very strong humidity and the small humidity container doesn’t give much help😀 the clothes that i left hanging in the room absorbed more moisture and in the result were wet (when you’re traveling for couple days not a nice thing at all), also room needs some “help” especially floor. We stayed only 2 nights, so we didn’t spend much time in the room. Bed was comfy.

Only I don’t like their bed frames . Made from metal.

They have all free bathroom supply(soap, towel, shampoo etc). Staff is excellent. We arrive at hostel late night 1am. A desk person is so friendly and fresh. Breakfast was included too. And pretty much good breakfast . Fruits, bread butter, croissants with chocolates And coffee. And close to airport and Barcelona city. I would definitely go this property next time.

Thank you for hospitality, Mambo Tango @mambotangobcn ! I enjoyed each second! Great hostel, many tourists attractions are located on a walking distance (okay, I walked daily an average 30 km lol however nearest metro 2 minutes walking for non walkers, clean bedsheets, clean towels, free coffee & tea, good shower rooms, clean toilets, cute small delicious breakfast, very comfortable resting room with variety of games and great music, very helpful employees at the reception, safe and secured place with the same safe neighbourhood regardless the time of the day or night, comfortable female dormitory where each bed has curtains - electrical plug - lamp - secured luggage place, especially grateful to your amazing receptionists for supporting me after I returned very sad from Barca Vs PSG game...I am giving you 10 stars from 10! Moltes gràcies! 👌🇪🇸♥️

we have a balcony to my room, so we can go out to enjoy the fresh air. And just the other side of the door we have 2 toilets and 2 showers. It's close and clean. Don't need to walk long way to go to the toilet.

The beds are kind of what you expect: hard, with hard pillows. Still, if you are just staying a few days it's perfectly fine and I have stayed in places with far worse beds!!

Absolutely great place to stay, especially for the money. Staff and facilities were great. So kind. Their English is good too. The complimentary breakfast was an unexpected surprise and it made life so much better XD Thanks so much!

Double room with bathroom is close to patio and the cigarettes smell goes inside the room. The window was small and not transparent so that it is a little bit too dark inside. The bed mattress is too soft which causes back ache.

Very clean and nice smelling sheets and towels as well as the liquid soap. Well equipped shared kitchen with cozy area to sit down and eat. Helpful and kind receptionists 24h/7. Small breakfast was also nice. Water, tea and coffee 24h/7 :)
