Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceThe hotel is located downtown, at a walking distance from the Albaicín and the Alhambra districts as well as the restaurant area. The staff is really nice and delivers plenty of helpful advice to help you organize your stay. The rooms are nice, spacious and well equipped.

United KingdomA nice clean hotel. Reception was very welcoming and helpful giving us a map of Granada and pointing out places of interest. Our room was quite small but for a 2 night stay it was fine. A comfortable bed, a big shower and a kettle with tea and coffee which is always welcome. We had breakfast on our first morning and it offered most things. All the staff we came into contact with were very pleasant. We would certainly be happy to stay again if we go back to Granada. It is in a great location.

IrelandMy room was on the 3rd floor, with a small balcony overlooking the pedestrianised street. On some nights, the noise from late night revellers could be heard. It didn't bother me too much (just bring some earplugs), but you should be aware that such a central location does have its drawbacks.
The hotel is ideally located on a pedestrianised street, surrounded by restaurants and cafes and a stones throw from the commercial district and some of the historical sites. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The room was a decent size, with good facilities, including a kettle and a fridge, and had a large en suite bathroom. I found it to be great value for money. I really enjoyed my stay in Granada and, overall, was very pleased with the hotel. It will definitely be the first place I look to book when I return.

SpainMaybe an upgrade on the wifi, otherwise no great issues.
The location was amazing, in the heart of the restaurants and bars, within minutes walk from hotel. All local sightseeing within walking distance. The hotel, itself was friendly and welcoming, a kettle was provided for us on request. The room was cleaned daily. It was also very quiet, our room was at the back but the soundproofing was excellent. The only slight disappointment was the wifi wasn’t very strong, but to be fair, we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room, so this wasn’t a big issue. We would definitely return here and recommend the hotel.

United StatesWe didn’t want to eat in the room and make a mess or try and find something else, but wanted to eat and head out for the day - Granada is terrific. Honestly, we travel for months and the quality here could be better. We don’t eat sausage or bacon et al and depended on yogurt and/or eggs where a tiny bit of yogurt was placed in 2 cups at a time—see photo. The otherwise nice women running the breakfast seemed not to appreciate us. (We bought our own muesli and ate that w the yogurt, as sugary granola was the only option.) Sugary orange drink (not juice) was in machine, scrambled eggs were always ice cold. One day only white bread was left. The paper thin sliced pineapple, sometimes kiwi, and melon were appreciated. The quality of the breakfast could be improved a bit. 😎
Location - easy walk for us to the Albaicín and to Sacromonte to see all the cave dwellings, day trips via bus and for Flamenco. We love Granada. Hotel is very clean, comfortable, superb housekeeping, nice front desk staff. Good size rooms and love that the bedroom and even the bathroom have doors and small verandas for some air, plus the doors do block some of the noise from the cafes on Calle Navas tapas street below - noise is happy noise. We generally don’t stay in hotels smack in the middle of activity, but this one was lovely.

United KingdomIf you are a light sleeper the only downside is the noise from the bars in the pedestrianised street below.
Have stayed at Porcel Navas before & returned because was so impressed with facilities, staff and location which are all great. The hotel is amazing value for money. It has the friendly feel of a family hotel with the facilities & professionalism of a bigger one.
