The breakfasts were okay, but could be improved by adding some fresh veggies.

We really enjoyed our stay at Onix Liceo, the location was great and the staff lovely! They gave us some tips about sightseeing and food and we're really welcoming. On our last day, we could stay at the pool after the check out and get some coffee or water, which was very nice. The pool is quite small, but totally enough if you want to relax a little bit after sightseeing. Great hotel!

Perfect location, so close to Las Ramblas, Gothic quarter and an easy stroll for our family to the super vibrant Playa Barceloneta. Hotel was clean, nice common area and a lovely courtyard with a pool, which we didn't use because we were at the beach. We paid for breakfast for one morning and for the price was a good range (no Jamon but salami/chorizo) to get you going for the day. Coffee machine in the common area was useful for warm water to make baby formula. Room size was very good and it included a king size bed. Air conditioning may be a bit noisy for some people but we don't mind background noise and at least it works well. Had a balcony too!

Rooms features basic compared to rest of hotel but still has everything you need.

The hotel itself is lovely! Very nice building with great features, has a pool and outside area. The rooms are very basic compared to the building itself, but it has everything you need. Bathroom was a good size, has hairdryer, towels, bar of soap but shampoo is in a tub on the side of the shower. Aircon is imbedded but does the job. Room was very spacious. We also had our 6month old baby and staff were great at accommodating. They had placed a cot with fresh sheets and a duvet type blanket. Julian was also great, he gave hs a kettle for the room to make milk overnight - which honestly was a life-saver!! There aren’t any hot drinks in the room but there is a hot drinks station which is accessible 24/7, in the court area. Location was AMAZING! We were right next to La Rambla. Both Joel and Julian are also great at advising where to go, what to eat and places to see. In terms of service, everything was great. It was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would recommend this place as its walking distance to so many great places and we’ve already decided with my husband we’ll be back!

The hotel itself was very basic with a body wash/shampoo in one. The tiles around the pool felt unfinished because they would make a large clanking sound with each step. Nothing that's the end of the world, but nothing that makes you say wow, that was great.

The location is great, being just off Rumbla but still quiet. A close walk to the beach. Max at the front desk was really knowledgeable and helpful! The hotel had a really nice Moroccan sort of look by the pool.

The host was very helpful. The location is perfect if you want heaps of food and shopping spots. It's just of the main "La Ramblas" area.

The hotel is situated in a great spot (if you visit Barcelona as a tourist). It's really close to many restaurants, metro station, supermarkets and so one. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the lobby is quite spacious with free hot drinks and water. Last but not least, the staff were extremely kind to us and helpful!

A/C in our first room was really inadequate and we couldn’t sleep as it was so hot. We were moved the next day to another room with better A/C. Pillows and sheets could be better and cooling. We liked the 2nd pillow provided (long huggable) which is a great touch Coffee in communal area was 24/7 but the other amenities seemed a bit sparse. Pool area could have done with refreshments or even a vending machine? Loan towels for the beach would have been great too! Breakfast didn’t seem appetising or complete, very light options. I think this is a real miss as even partnering with the amazing bakery a few doors down would be brilliant.

Excellent location near shops, metro, close to amenities, lively but not too loud. Rooms have high ceilings, good views and nice bathrooms. Cool, clean main lounge area and communal pool at the back to relax in. Staff are friendly and prompt - an air conditioner issue was resolved quickly
