Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A few small notes: - Rooms could use some renovation - The street outside was a bit dirty, but that is not the fault of the hotel of course! - A bit pricy for what you get. But Barcelona prices are becoming crazy in the summer period
It is a good hotel in general: - great location, right next to la Rambla, but far enough to limit the noise - very friendly staff - the room was cleaned every day - no problem with noise in my room - quite a spacious room for my Barcelona experience

Very helpful and very friendly reception staff. Really nice big room overlooking the pool. Great to have a kettle in the room and coffee making facilities in the lounge area.

just off La Rambla, which kept noise down. Room very comfortable and staff always helpful. Great tapas restaurant a few doors down, big supermarket a few minutes away(opp direction from rambla), very good wine shop across the road, etc.

The big twin bed was just to single beds pushed together and nothing in between to make it feel like one. Unfortunately they did not have breakfast due to covid measures.
The location of the hotel is incredible, very central. The quality of the beds, cleaning and housekeeping was very good. Although it was a central location, it was very quiet. There are a lot of great options for eating (breakfast - lunch - dinner) in walking distance. We had asked for a cot for our baby, it was already in hour room when we arrived, and it was a very good quality. We had very little need to talk to the staff, but they were nice and helpful every time we needed. Bathroom was big and clean, it was very nice.

The pool was disappointing. No world BBC on tv.
Excellent location, clean, comfortable beds, good bathroom and excellent shower. Pleasant and uncluttered design. Nice staff. Hotel reception recommended a very good cafe nearby for breakfast.

very slow wifi, the area is very dodgy at night, cleaning is inconsistent
Situated right next to Las Ramblas, the hotel is very close to everything and there are means of public transport available in the vicinity.

The cleaning is not up to standards, we found hair and dust even after the daily cleaning . . . overall the hotel is nice and in a good location, rooms are spacious and staff friendly (although their English is not good), but I think it's overpriced for what it offers.

The walls were pretty thin and noise (even conversations) from other rooms could be heard pretty loud and clear - might be an issue for some travelers.
Location was excellent - La Rambla is directly at the end of the street, the Columbus Statue and public transportation at Drassanes Metro approx. a 5 min walk away. Since the hotel is located on a side street off La Rambla, street noise in the night wasn't an issue. Plenty of bars, shops, restaurants etc. within a very close distance. The room was very nice and modern, the bed was comfortable, shower was superb and the toiletries provided were very pleasant. All staff were very friendly and accommodating, also offered valuable tips! Breakfast at a coffee shop almost next door was more than sufficient, so don't worry about the hotel not offering breakfast. Nice patio on the ground floor for smoking and also a little pool for summer days. All in all a nice budget choice for short stays and solo travelers!

The coffee maker did not work and the minibar was not well equipped.
The staff was very courteous. Especially Mark made the stay very nice. He helped us with all our questions and gave perfect tips for Barcelona. Thank you!
