Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I reserved a room for 3 people and I paid the price for 3 people. But they gave us a 2 people room and they were very rude when we were explaining it. This hotel is not for family stay. And the staff did not help us about anything. In addition to these, they insisted to take money via an unreliable link, 1 week before the stay. And their attitude was very rude and they were very annoying because they always threatened about cancelling the reservation.

I didn’t know that the hotel was next to a club/bar. I stayed I On the 2nd floor facing the street. The music at the club didn’t stop until 3am. In addition to the loud music I was able to hear the patrons of the bar song along to the music! It was awful. The music was so loud it sounded like it was next door to our room. My parents had the room right above ours and it wasn’t any better. Idk if a room facing the pool would help.
Breakfast was great and so was the pool. Good location in walking distance to restaurants.

Cleanliness, hospitality, prompt and welcoming responses. The ladies at the front desk Noelia and Virginia were very humble and ready to help. They had very welcoming attitude towards guests. A smile everyone in hospitality industry should learn to wear from these ladies. Thank you for arranging wonderful stay.

Would have been nice to have a clothing rack to hang clothes outside, but not a deal breaker, used the chairs instead.
Great location. Loved having the terrace as we were able to wash clothes and put them out in the sun to dry. Felt safe and comfortable during our stay. The lobby / pool area was a nice touch for some extra space to hang out too. Staff were friendly and saw one staff member going above and beyond on our last day for another couple who had just arrived, making recommendations etc.

Great location and very well-informed employees at the front desk gave us a lot of helpful information. Someone was at the front desk around the clock - 24-hour desk service. Also, the hotel had an easy-to-use coffee machine which all guests could use. It made good coffee.

I liked the spacious area at the back of the reception, and the area next to the smal pool. Free coffee in there was a nice bonus. The room was comfortable. This is a very good three-star hotel, conveniently situated in the heart of Barcelona, close to subway.

The hotel is about a city block off La Rambla on the west side, not far south from the Boqueria Market. The neighborhood is full of restaurants and shops. The plaza at the north end of La Rambla, about 15 minutes’ walk, is the meeting place for hop on-off tour buses. There is a laundry a block north of the hotel where you can drop off clothes and pick them up later for a reasonable cost. The little courtyard around the lap pool is a very pleasant place to sit and relax.

The walls were thin and there are all hard floors, so you could hear the neighbors in the building next door talking and watching moves through the night and some of the guests staying who had small children playing or babies crying. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
Great location, super close walk to the mercado and many attractions. The coffee machine and common areas were really nice. The shower was amazing after our international flight, the best shower we had in all six cities through Spain. We arrived before our room was ready and they checked our bags for us. Really simple check in.

Noisy. Do your research before booking and understand this is a city hotel next door to a bar. You can hear neighbours music and talking through the walls, late into the night. If a quiet night's sleep is important to you, book elsewhere.

The room was extremely small. I had to climb over my suitcase at night to get to bed. But ok when traveling for work.
Cute modern rooms. Liked the courtyard room overlooking the outside restaurant area. Separate shower cubicle with glass wall. Central location. Comfy beds and really helpful receptionists.
