Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Awesome hostel, I had a great time here! The atmosphere and the people are very nice. Very friendly and helpful reception and workers. Stylish interiour matching to this buinding in the heart of the old town of Granada. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy and the lockers are big enough to put a hand luggage trolley and a backpack inside. Tasty handmade breakfast. Best hostel in town!

FranceOne of the hostel i have seen in a long time. The receptionist is a nice person. They have a small pool and a rooftop. The place is very clean. Excess bonus: the building is an old traditional 200 years old house. I couldn't expect such a good place

United KingdomThere was nothing to dislike. Absolute legends!
The MOST picturesque of hostels right in the heart of the Albaicin! Beautiful restored woodwork and tiles, gorgeous dorm and private bedspaces as well as comfy and airy communal spaces - I had to bring some work with me and I found myself typing in the open top terrace facing the Alhambra!! There is complimentary breakfast every morning and just a massive shout out to the hostel staff - Fernando, Lou, and Thea - for being so gracious, engaging and informative on so many levels!

ItalyFantastic and welcoming hostel located in the heart of the Albayzín! Fernando, Lucas, Lucia and all the staff are friendly, kind and always willing to help, they will give you the best tips to enjoy Granada at most. There are multiple common areas to get along with the other guests and you also get views from the rooftop. The hostel has a fantastic vibe and it looks amazing, with multiple pieces of art made up by artists and guests. The facilities are good and the place is really clean, you will also find two friendly and playful dogs! Beautiful city and awesome hostel, I'll be back!

GermanyNothing! :)
I was in probably around 200 Hostels in my life, this one is the best in Europe and in my top 5 in the world. Lucia, Fernando and all the volunteers i met during the time are so loving, caring and like to give advises. Good company is guaranteed! The atmosphere is so chilled and relaxed with the 2 outside areas and the cosy living room. Table tennis, BBQ, good boared games...what do you need more for a longer stay?!? Albacin is anyway the place to be in Granada!

United StatesIt requires a climb to get there from the city center, and there are no cubbies to lock your belongings, though the hostel was quite safe.
They have some cute hostel dogs! This hostel felt more like a home and it was really comfortable with great facilities.

Bosnia and HerzegovinaThe only thing I would suggest changing is the price of the one night stay. Compared to Granada standards, It could have been cheaper, but again it's worth it because the atmosphere is really cool.
The greatest hostel I have ever been to. It's so colorful and chill. The rooms are clean, the showers are amazing, and they even give you free towels, and basically everything you ask for. We came during the Christmas eve party, so we had a special dinner with the guests of the hostel. A lot of open minded young people were staying at the hostel so the atmosphere was casual, and chill.
