Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is in a very nice place with good access to public transport and not too far from airport with lot of popular attractions nearby where you can easily reach via public transport within 30 mins.

Two twins made into a larger bed. Not a big deal but the seam between the mattresses was noticable vs having 2 twins made seperately but pushed together. Again, a very minor issue.
Clean, modern, newer, great location and overall a good value.

The walls are like paper, you can here everything next door, I suggest good earplugs.
Location is excellent. The staff is very helpful. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Security is good as you have to use the door card to get the lift go up.

The walls of the hotel must be thin. We can hear the raucous noise of other guests especially those who came in late or early morning after a big night out. The towels are old and very thin.
The Paral.lel Hotel is close to the Metro station and centrally located to what we want to see in Barcelona. The staff were welcoming, helpful and generally nice to us.There are plenty of eating out choices with a street lined with tapa bars just a block away.

Perfectly serviceable. We got a good room with a little outdoor balcony type thing, very pleasant. Not a luxury stay but a nice hotel and amazing location, could walk practically everywhere.

"Do Not Disturb" sign, that I leaved at the door, did not work - the cleaning lady knocken heavily to know when I want the room be cleaned. Noizy during the night: the window is not tight, I heard all the cars from nearby busy street Paral.lel, although it is over the corner. There is no toilet brush; one may take toilet paper by turning 180 degrees while sitting at the toilet bowl; splashes of water from the shower come all over the floor
Wery wery welcoming reception colleague. He recommended great (and not obvious) sightseeings and restaurants. The hotel offenes balanced breakfast, not enormous choice, but it contained everything, that I needed.

The shower was designed by someone that thinks a non-slip shoe is mandatory. Being barefoot was dangerous and I have reviewed my mandatory travel list now
The hotel is very well located with many convenience stores nearby, and a metro station. The breakfast was very good and staff were very responsive. The bedroom was sparse but comfortable.

The hair dryer was not working properly.
The location was perfect. Metro station almost next to the hotel, restaurants near. Definitely reccommended!
