Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A bit small room and you can hear some noise from the street outside other than that was great
Nice staff and was well connected in my opinion with some really nice places to eat and drink around ( not touristic more authentic )

There must have been a misunderstanding between the staff because when we came back to check into the next room (we even came a bit later than they told us to just to make sure its ready) a different front desk guy treated us as if we had asked to change the room and told us we need to wait until 3pm to check in to the next room (our initial arrival at the hotel being the day before and we never requested anything, plus we had to pack everything back up because our room was not ready the day before). after my husband clarified the situation everyone was nice again and it was all good. It was just a bit odd to me that we were the ones who were being moved around and we had this weird treatment. Also when dogs are not allowed in places (like the breakfast area or the busses) they don't ask nicely. I found it to be a very reactive "no" as if we were going to pick a fight or something. Maybe it's a cultural thing, but damn.. be nice first. we are nice people, we don't challenge rules, we were chill with not having our room at first. but everyone seemed so stressed out.
The beds are nice and wide and the room feels spacious. We were put into a different room for some reason the first day and half the floor was under construction so the air in the room felt a bit dusty. Front desk was very apologetic and sweet about it and we were told that our actual room would be ready by noon the next day.

The hotel far exceeded our expectations. High level of cleanliness, ergonomics, comfortable beds, large rooms and bathrooms. Tasty breakfasts and friendly staff. And on top of all this a great location (two metro lines, Montjuic, besides many attractions within walking distance). We are very satisfied and recommend!

It was really noisy, there was construction in the hotel that noone told us about and it started at 8-9 am.

Unfortunately the rooms are clean but in bad shape and very outdated. The windows have no noice canceling effect whatsoever, so bring your ear plugs. The worst part in my room was the unbearable sewer like smell in the bathroom - not sure if this comes from the renovation currently ongoing in the upper floors but I just couldn’t stand it.
The location is super convenient and the staff is super friendly. Yes, the location is noisy but nothing some earplugs can’t fix.

It might get a little noisy at night for example on New Years Eve, but otherwise no problem at all

The room was really cold and it didn't seem to have any heating system. The sound insulation was very bad, the room smelled like fresh paint, and the shower pressure was poor.
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

What may be annoying to some people are the vibrations of the metro. It didn't bother me myself. I grew up in a big city with a lot of commotion.
I stayed there from November 8-15, 2024. I was in a single room, which was well equipped. Even though the hotel is being renovated, it didn't bother me at all. The staff are wonderful and helpful. The location is great and the nearby metro (L3 & L2) takes you quickly throughout the city. The El Poble sec district is lively with many hidden culinary delights. Go discover them! For music lovers: P62 and Apollo are around the corner on Paral-lel. Furthermore, a beautiful walk to the Museum of Miro and the surroundings of the Olympic Stadium is an absolute must!
