Great location, very friendly staff, and nice hostel. There are activities organized by the hostel, and I think that's great. It was very clean and we liked it. The downside is low sound isolation (you can hear other guests in the rooms next to yours (we were in a double room - just two of us), or in the corridor. The room temperature could be a bit higher, and the interest a little bit faster. All in all, great experience.

The hotel was easy enough to get to from the very centre by the cathedral. It felt safe, quiet and cosy. the staff was friendly and someone was there 24/7. I had to stay due to a missed flight but for the price and location would stay again should I travel on a budget.

Not a bad hostel for a short stay. It was easy to get to from the station. However it's a bit further out from the more central area so be prepared for a 15-20min walk! The bed was quite comfortable for a bunk in an all female dorm.

Comfy beds with a curtain, big cupboards to store stuff, daily events organized by the hostel, a very friendly & professional stuff, all clean. There a lot of space in the common room, also for working and quite a big kitchen with all the amenities

The room is filled with an unpleasant smell from people’s dirty socks and feet. It would be wonderful if the reception desk could provide bags for dirty laundry; otherwise, one might very well lose their sanity! 😅 Anyway we were saved by opening the window

The staff are absolutely wonderful! The location is ideal, making it perfect for exploring. The breakfast is reasonably priced and quite decent for what you pay. While there’s a noticeable lack of vegetarian options, it’s still worth it overall!

Found a couply cockroackes roaming the kitchen.

In general the hostel was good, clean bathroom and common areas, great location, you can buy breakfast, free tea. Some stuff for cooking. It was fine. The worst was that during my stay there were two huge groups of high school students. All the time it was loud. Morning, during the day, evening. It was a little too much, screaming and knocking on the doors all the time. I couldn't connect with anyone there because most of the guests were 16 years old. I didn't expect a school trip in a hostel to be honest. But I guess I did the wrong research because apparently this is some youth hostel. So I guess if you don't end up there the same days as some school trips, you will like this place because other than that it was a good place.

Everything is wonderful! There’s a simple, free dinner served at night, which I didn’t expect. The room and bathroom are just right! The best part of this hostel is its strategic location, which is close to several bus stops—perfect for anyone traveling around the city.

Cozy hostel with an elevator very close to the city center and with lots of cafés and bars surrounding it. A tour guide comes everyday in the moring to offer a local tour around the old town. The staff was friendly and patience.

The app was working sometimes, WhatsApp group is inactive, squeaky beds especially the top bunk, and there could be more structured social activities for people. There were a lot of families during my stay which was cool but made it a bit harder to meet others.

Great location, friendly staff, decent facilities, warm water in showers, fairly clean overall, free food. Met some great people.

Some people in the room were rude, making noise and keeping the light on at night, but it's not a problem related to the structure. Maybe I would recommend curtains on the beds for more privacy.

Very central structure, friendly and super welcoming staff, comfortable bed with plastic cover, clean bathrooms and I didn't hear any noise at night. We had a fault with the lights and sockets that they promptly repaired the next day. You meet lots of people from all over the world, it's a great way to meet people and improve your English.

It's not really the staff's fault, but my experience staying at the Purple Nest wasn't great. Someone took a shower at 1AM while listening to music very loudly on their speaker, and two nights later I had a couple having sex in the room where I was sleeping. Super uncomfortable. Again, I can't blame the hostel, but it would be good to reinforce some ground rules for guests.

It was very difficult to climb up and down the top bunk bed. I understand the lower bunk beds were completely booked.

Lift not working. Wasn't working last year either. 4 floors is tough after a marathon!

A returning group of friends staying in a private 4 bed dorm. We came here last year to run the marathon and had a great experience. This year was no different. Friendly accomodating staff. Ideal city centre location within walking distance to the start and finish of the marathon. Also close to historic centre. Early breakfast for the marathon runners. A fridge full of beers. Also free food on occasion. What's not to love! See you next year!

Wished I could get could get rest here tho.

Most of the staff. Richard was super amazing making sure I could rest instead of having to check out and in again because I had 2 reservations. Pedro was helpful at night. Also, I wish I got his name, but he worked nights and was just super attentive, polite and friendly. Private shower on 3rd floor had no hot water a month ago, and still non a month later, but it as OK to shower in other showers. Loved that the hostel shared food with the guests after feeding families affected by the storms in Valencia. I love that they care. Word of advise, if the elevators are not working, be sure that SIGN is on all floors. OR, like me, I took it down only to find out it was not safe.

I tried both private and sharing room. honestly the sharing room is a no. No curtains, very limited privacy and also the elevator was broken during my stay. It’d be nice if they resolve that quick. I stayed in the 5th floor… With my luggages, it was so much job to bring it up and down. Alsooooo!! only way to get in to your room when you arrive earlier is to pay €5. I mean if the room ready why would you charge more?

the private room is spacy and very cozy. bathroom is clean. the workers help me to bring my luggage up. she is very kind!!!
