Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesOur only challenge was the lack of staff on the rooftop during happy hour/ dinner. They were incredibly friendly, but were extremely under staffed and missing some food items on the menu. They even had to fun out and buy ice cream for our kids b/c they were out.
Beautiful modern hotel in an excellent location. Very helpful and incredibly friendly staff!

Italythe hotel does not have parking on site, (due to the location) but there is parking nearby. Coffee not great, but there is a good espresso machine in the room.
Excellent location to explore the old city and the major attractions, modern clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds, great amenities, excellent buffet breakfast. The staff was very nice and attentive, really made a difference!

The Hotel is central, on a street with good shopping places, near a train station and 10 minutes walk to the historic zone («casco viejo»). Staff always very helpful and professional. The room was spacious, as well as the wc with different shower and bathtube. The quen size bed was very confortable, and the room was very quite (stayed for 3 nights, fourth floor). The breakfast was very good, not exceptional but with very good bread, fruit and other things. The breakfast is on the restaurant, 7th floor, weather allowing could have the meals outside. The Hotel has no parking, the nearest one is Parking Instituto (10 minutes walk) with 10% reduction, paid 35 euros for two nights stay). Near the Hotel there are lots of good restaurants and bars to have a meal or to have a glass of wine and boccadillos or pintxos (small slices of bread with a variety of toppings, very týpical and very tasty !). Can recommend Abando Bar Restaurante, as well as Restaurant Amaren (wonderful meat !). And right outside the Hotel, there is a delightful cafe, old fashioned, Cafe Iruna, woth a visit !

United KingdomWaiting time at check-in. We arrived half an hour before check-in time although indicated it with online checkin. Told it would take 5-10 mins to fix the room… at the End 5 minutes after 10 and another 5… we waited for 1,5 hrs worn a baby of 4 months. I wish we were told the real picture… we could use that time differently. So… learning for next time
It’s an excellent hotel from location to the pillow.

Irelandrooftop bar service was very slow, there was only one bartender making all the drinks, 3 wait staff and 2 managers, one of which just stood at his computer for 2 hours as we sat there. So it was really busy because there was not enough staff to make the drinks and too many managers !
superb location, close to the old town and only 15 mins to the Guggenheim too! gorgeous decor, comfy beds!

Australialoved everything!
Absolutely faultless, perfect stay. Brand new, centrally located hotel in between the old town and shopping areas of Bilbao- a lovely stroll to the Guggenheim. The rooms are huge, new and pristine. block out curtains meant you could sleep all day if you want to! A 1L complimentary bottle of filtered water was a sustainable touch, crystal glasses and luxury products. A coffee maker with generous array of pods, variety of teas and welcome chocolates were a delight. The staff were lovely- they were patient and kind with my terrible Spanish- most spoke English beautifully. Thank you Christina for being such a delight. Breakfast is well worth a visit, €23 and you have a buffet and as many cooked options as you like- I had the avocado toast- delicious! There is a restaurant and room service, washing services and I could easily store my bags and had a comfortable wait on the reception with free coffee, fruit, snacks and drinks. If you go to Bilbao- absolutely stay here! One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Thank you!

United StatesI booked two rooms and unfortunately one of the rooms had a large leak upon check-in. They ended up having to separate us into separate floors which was disappointing as we were no longer next to my kids.

IrelandThe restaurant on the roof top should have more variety , over priced and no fresh cooked fish and potatoes and veg on the menu , also the roof top bar area very under utilised and nothing to keep people staying there and spending money this needs to be looked at
Marcos one of the staff a manager I think is exceptional at client care ,I hurt my foot and he was excellent arranging a taxi for me and my partner to go to the hospital he is a truly modest person when i thanked him he took no praise saying it was his job and it was a team , seriously this man is invaluable to the Raddisson and should be running the hotel he really gets how to care for clients I can't say enough about his care and i have my own company in Ireland .
