Wonderful authentic place, amazing host, experience beyond all expectations!

I travelled by bus which was slow, but renting a car would resolve this problem.

Location is excellent- up in a mountainous region which is much quieter than the tourism heavy beaches of Tenerife. It provides a more authentic experience, as you will be staying in an old Spanish house in a village surrounded by Spanish style architecture. Breakfast was excellent and healthy, I personally looked forward to it every morning. The balcony and sun terrace provide views of a beautiful sunrise every morning and a great view of the south coast, including el medano and tenerife south airport The lady, Mari ann cleaned very thoroughly and was also fluent in multiple languages, making it easy for guests to speak to her. My stay was most enjoyable and would recommend it to anyone looking for a more authentic experience of Tenerife besides the beaches as San Miguel is worlds apart, it is easy to appreciate the beauty in it's rocky, arid landscape and traditional Spanish buildings.

A beautiful house! Amazing views from the balconies! Delicious breakfast! Mari-Ann is the best host ever - lovely and kind and makes everyone feel at home. She maintains the place to the highest standard. It was perfect for my remote working, too. I would love to come back again :)

I loved everything about my stay here. I was made to feel super welcome and given so many hints and tips from a fabulous host! She is the best! Such a lovely and quiet area, breakfast was delicious with lots of cheese 🧀 meat and fresh coffee ☕️ I will be back again 💯

The property was really cute and had all what you needed. Loved having breakfast in the terrace in the morning. The other guests were friendly. The host Mari-Ann was very attentive and made us feel at home. It really is made to feel like a home away from home. Very cute decor and very reasonable pricing.

A second toilet would be nice so you don't have to wait while people are showering.

Shared toilet but was fine as there aren't too many other rooms and so we didn't experience any delays.

Lovely bright, colourful space with a really friendly and welcoming host. Nice and quiet location, some nice walks nearby. Lovely breakfast, a chance to meet fellow guests.

If it wasn't for the car I rented, I think it wouldn't have been so easy to travel to the location. But it was worth it!

The host was very friendly and helpful, it was my first time in Tenerife and she gave me advice on where to go and it was very useful. I loved the vibes of the place. Rich of personality, clean and tidy. This is not just a guesthouse, it felt like being at home. I had delicious breakfast on the terrace, kissed by the sun and chit chatting with other guests. :) Grazie <3

Nothing! Everything was great

A beautiful and homely guesthouse with a fantastic polyglot host! Mari-Ann is incredibly nice and you feel able to have meaningful and fulfilling conversations which make your stay at Sansofi very comfortable. Guesthouse also features a very nice balcony to eat breakfast with sunrise each morning, and an amazing rooftop terrace. Great for hikers, cyclists and travellers alike. I will return!

Only one toilet, but wasn't a major issue as its only shred by maximum of 5 people.

Breakfast was a fantastic buffet with lots of choice. Balcony was a great place to enjoy the sun and chill out. Hostel was more like a home from home. Marie Ann was an exceptional host, welcoming and extremely friendly. Can't recommend highly enough.

COZY! We definetely loved this place and we were so sad to leave it even if the holiday wasn't finished. Marie is an amazing woman, lovely, welcoming, she gave us a lot of useful suggestions for our trips around, never intrusive. The house is a real happy place and comfortable (like the bed/room). That breakfast from the balcony was a perfect way to start the day. The bathroom is shared but we faced no issue because there are few rooms and there is also a separated sink just outside. Everything is perfectly clean!! Free parking available outside.

Immediately one is struck by the consideration Mari has put into her space. This is reflected also in the guests with whom one can spend time and share stories. If you are an idiot - it is awful here, you should go somewhere else. San Miguel is a charming small town with enough to keep you alive. There are bus routes nearby, but for a longer stay a car would be advisable. Breakfast is a lovely thing to have included.

Mari-Ann was absolutely lovely, the house was beautiful in a quiet area, the room was spacious and super comfy. The bathroom and the whole house was perfectly clean, an amazing experience and we also met Paco by chance the lovely dog of Mari-Ann. I highly recommend ❤️

The host was super friendly and helpful. We had some issues finding parking due to a festival being held in the town but the host went out of her way to help us find some. We had a very short stay but none the less enjoyable. Beds were comfy, shared bathroom was spotless and the breakfast was sufficient for fuelling us for a day of hiking before moving on to our next destination!

It’s not a usually hotel or something, it’s really feeling like you got spanish vibe, owner Mary-Ann such a communicative woman, very kindly and ready to help if needed We had two persons room at upstairs, actually the floor so loud when walking, but it’s not a problem You have entrance to the terrace straight from room, such a nice but terrace is public, so every guests can visit by another way, when we stayed almost nobody visit terrace except us In house also public kitchen there is perfect window with view on the city and ocean , daily room with tv, small balcony(this not a terrace where you can eat your breakfast Free parking is on the street front of door, we always had parking place Breakfast looks like buffet, fresh coffee, juices, cheese, jamón, traditional tortilla de patatas, fruits - our recommendation, good beginning for a day! Not far from hotel are two restaurants La Bodega and Rincón Patio Bello recommendation by Mary-Ann, we were in both of them and we can say are so nice!
