Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe classic room windows don't have any view and the showroom is very tiny.
Very close to Toledo Cathedral in a quiet lane. The room was comfortable with hair dryer provided, which is a surprise. The beds were good. We paid €5 for breakfast, which was huge. As I needed to leave early around 6:30am, they're kindly enough to prepare picnic bag for my breakfast. They have 24hr manned reception which is handy to call for taxi early in the morning.

United KingdomOur room was a little dark as it looked out onto a small back courtyard. Otherwise all good.
Central, quiet location near cathedral, delightful historic property with attractive old patio. Lovely view towards the cathedral and alcazar from the hotel’s roof terrace. Private (paid) parking under the hotel was bookable and convenient for small vehicles. Good breakfast offered. Helpful English speaking reception staff.

The property is characterful and in a great location. Away from the crowds but central to walk anywhere in Toledo. The view from the terrace is just fabulous.

United StatesIt was amazing to stay in a place that was built in the 13th century! The modern hotel was delightful. The staff was very responsive and they even packed us a picnic breakfast because we had to leave very early.

U.S. Virgin IslandsThe shower was very small. I’m 5’11”/ 185lb and I barely fit in in. If you are a large person you won’t even be able to close the shower doors. But the water pressure was very strong and plenty of hot water.
The location is fantastic. Very close to the cathedral and shopping, but also tucked away in a quiet street. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was simple but nice, with excellent coffee. The room was small but comfortable and very clean with great AC.

United KingdomOnly problem was the 2nd night our next door neighbor talking loudly on his phone on his balcony at one o clock in the morning - had to get out of bed and tell him to be quiet - nothing the hotel could do about it but a ruined nights sleep.
Excellent location close to the cathedral. Ability to park the car in one of it's 2 underground car parks - although getting in and out is a tight fit - be aware that the streets are VERY narrow! Breakfast was table served by 3 ladies - the large chocolate cake that they served certainly filled you up! This is the 2nd time I've stayed there - this time we discovered the roof terrace - you have to go up a spiral staircase and across a roof to get there - has a wonderful view of the cathedral at night - as well as the hundreds of swifts and swallows catching insects above your heads!

GermanyBreakfast service is slow during morning rush hour (breakfast starting from 8am), so I did not have breakfast in the hotel, since I would have been late for my congress starting from 8:45am.
The hotel's location is very central, near the cathedral and ayuntamiento, also some bars are within walking distance. The room was standard, with standard bath and amenities. Air conditioning was quite loud though, so I slept with the window open during the night (although the temperature was quite high in July).

United StatesThe location, friendly staff, good breakfast, and roof deck make this property special. I woke up early and through my window watched light of the sunrise dance on cathedral and rooftops. It’s worth it in my opinion to pay more money for a room with a view but we got 2 rooms for our family of 4 and my husband and son took the larger room on a lower floor with windows without a view and enjoyed the extra space and couch. So both room types have advantages. The breakfast was a good value as well; it felt almost homemade. And there were lots of friendly women preparing it. AC worked well. Room darkening shutters blocked out all light.
