Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

where do I start! reception said couldn’t have double bed despite booking it, staying fully booked, which was rubbish. eventually got a double room. plastic bed cover was horrible. breakfast was limited, nothing hot. should have stayed in Padron !

buffet dinner in a terrible hall, poor food selection. Breakfast was an even bigger horror. this hotel was like traveling back in time :)

The beds where just bad an in the bedroom you could hear people talk in the hallway. The staff at the restaurant was irritated and was very stressed and unpolite. The food was nothing special. All the common places where extremely noise. Extremely crowded at the breakfast and eccoing. The hotel needs to do something about the eccoing in common places. Traffic noise in the bedroom.

Air con in room did not work even after reporting it. Had to leave window open overnight so v noisy as on main road. Room and decor all a bit shabby. Location is 1.5k beyond padron and no taxis available to return from town in evening
Fabulous cool swimming pool after hot day walk8ng camino. Generous breakfast.

The hotel is like going into a time machine back to the 1980's. It needs some serious updating. The rooms had old wood paneling, the beds were just mattresses on a frame with no headboard, there were virtually no decorations in the room, just a large bare wall, and the furniture looks like it came from a second-hand store. The shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor. The air conditioner worked for some of the night and then just quit. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it.
It was North of Padron, so it gave us a slight headstart for the walk to Santiago the next day. It's a very large hotel and the cafe/bar was open most of the day for sandwiches and drinks. It has a decent pool, but it's awkward to get to.

The beds were very hard and the building is noisy at night… people talking in other rooms, the fumbling of keys in doors echoing in the marble hallways, water running and doors closing.
The location any be beat when doing the Camino, and their facility has options for food at any time. The pool is a plus but wasn’t feasible for us to enjoy bc it was outdoors. The staff was kind and helpful and breakfast was extensive.

We struggled with the room key to open and lock, food in the cafe was poor except the salad, but seriously how can you mess up a garden salad.

Restaurant was closed until 2000 or so and the only other place to eat was the bar so 200 guests were trying to get food there with only 2 staff! Ordered bowl of cabbage soup and it cost 10 euros!
Location was north of town. Probably would have rather stayed in town.

This is a big hotel, catering for large groups and events and so has a very corporate, impersonal feel. It is out of town on a main road so not a good location if you want to look around Padron in the evening.
The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is on the main road between Padron and Santiago so is very convenient if you need to catch a bus.

Coffee machine The server in restaurant for breakfast didn't look happy Big room but fairly basic furniture
Old fashioned Hotel. Has a pool BUT was not in use. Lovely gardens but not set us as sitting area. Coffee machine not great although good selection of food available from 7am
