After going through a few hostels in Madrid because there was no room, I returned to Onefam Sungate, the place is comfortable, clean and spacious. But most importantly, the excellent staff, for example, Cátia helped me fill out forms for hour, it's fun and easy to meet people. If there's a place, I really recommend coming here.

Staying at Onefam Sungate Madrid was one of the best hostel experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment I walked in, I felt like part of a family rather than just another guest. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming, making it so easy to meet fellow travelers and feel at home. The staff here truly go above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience in Madrid. A special shoutout to Natassha and Angel, who were absolutely fantastic! They not only shared the best local spots to visit but also genuinely took the time to ensure I had everything I needed. Whether it was giving personal recommendations, helping with directions, or just having a great chat, their kindness made my stay even more special. The hostel itself is super clean, comfortable, and well-located—right in the heart of Madrid, making it easy to explore everything on foot. But what really makes Onefam Sungate stand out is the sense of community. From group dinners to fun outings, it’s the perfect place for anyone looking to connect with amazing people. The location was great The hostel itself was clean and safe with great vibes all around The staff is the best part of my stay as they were super friendly and helpful, especially Natasha and Angel they always went the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and help you with the programs to explore the city. Nat even took the time to show Madrid at night and show me all the hidden gems and explain the stories behind the buildings. It was a wonderful, and authentic Madrid experience. The staff know their city and always have a plan for you that will meet your interests

I stayed in this hostel for a few times now and it is always one of my best stays. People are nice and welcoming, they help you with everything and I love how they really respect the quiet night time hours! Easy to meet people as well and super close to Granvia and Sol.

Great central location, friendly and helpful staff, excellent facilities. Extra bonus was the cooking classes/hostel meals which weren't every night but helped keep the cost of my trip down when they were available ... And were also very tasty.

Onefam Sungate is just great. I've stayed in a couple of similar hostels but this was something else. Everyone was super nice and they made me feel like home. Everything is super super clean and they make activities everyday. Im 100% I'll stay here everytime I go to Madrid.

This is one exceptional hostel stay that I've had. The hostel location is superb in the heart of Madrid. They organize activities everyday such as morning city tours and evening pub crawl. They also have daily free breakfast snacks and dinner every other day. I want to thank in particular from the staff "Angel Garcia" who ensures everyone have a great experience from the moment they arrive for check-in. He has provided great recommendations for attractions to visit, bars to go to and places to eat, thank you Angel !

The mattress in my room was not comfortable at all. There could be noise at night as one can hear the sounds of people and vehicles outside in the middle of the night.

The staff is welcoming and nice. The breakfast atmosphere is pleasant. Actually, they offer freshly baked churros, coffee, tea, apples, etc.
